Rockstar Games is about to start celebrating Lunar New Year in GTA Online. They teased it last year, and now we know some of the things that will happen this week. Rockstar has put some clues about the celebration in the game's loading screens.

The message confirms that the Lunar New Year Event Week will run from January 23rd to the 29th. To celebrate the Year of the Snake, Rockstar will introduce exciting new Lunar New Year Stunt Races. These unique races are sure to add a fresh twist to the gameplay and keep players entertained throughout the event.

The Lunar New Year celebration also brings Yuanbao Collectibles to GTA Online. These golden objects will be scattered throughout Southern San Andreas in three different variations. Collecting these Yuanbao will reward players with cash and RP. And if you're a true completionist, there's a special reward for finding all of them.

To kick off the celebrations, Rockstar will be offering special gifts to all players who log into GTA Online starting Thursday. Last year, players received Dragon Masks and other stylish clothing items. This year, based on the loading screen image and datamined files, we can expect to receive a golden snake livery for our vehicles.

In addition to all these exciting activities, players can expect the usual bonuses, discounts, and more when they log into GTA Online on Thursday.

When Rockstar Games allowed fan accounts to reveal the new weapon, some fans were upset by the details. At the launch of "Agents of Sabotage," only GTA+ members could access it. This means only players with a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S subscription can use the weapon. If you're a GTA+ subscriber, just go to the Gun Van on the in-game map to get it for free!

While GTA+ subscribers on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can get the El Strickler Military Rifle now, other players must wait until January 2025. Non-GTA+ players on next-gen consoles will be able to purchase the rifle in-game, though its exact location has not been revealed.

Unfortunately, PC, PS4, and Xbox One players will not have access to this weapon.

While it may not be the GTA 6 trailer 2, Rockstar Games has just revealed a lot of exciting details about the new GTA Online update. The big announcement includes information like the DLC's title, trailer, and release date.

A few weeks ago, the next content update for GTA Online was announced, but no specific name or release date was provided, only a December window and the promise of a new robbery business as the main focus.

Titled GTA Online: Agents of Sabotage, the update lets you team up with a former FIB agent named Jodi Marshall. After her time at the FIB, Jodi has maintained secret access to their data and holds a grudge against them. You'll be able to buy the Darnell Bros Garment Factory and plan new robberies alongside Jodi and Pavel, who returns four years after The Cayo Perico Heist!

Agents of Sabotage Release Date

As expected, GTA Online: Agents of Sabotage will be released on Tuesday, December 10th, just under a week from now. A new GTA+ month will also begin on the same day.

As usual, this update will be available on all currently supported GTA Online platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. We hope that a PS5 and PS4 pre-load to go live 24-48 hours before 10 am UK time on December 8th. We'll keep you updated on our site if this happens, just like with previous GTA Online updates.

In addition to the details, Rockstar released a trailer highlighting different parts of the content, along with the key art and logo (shown at the top of the article) for this DLC. The trailer reveals new vehicles, such as the police version of the Invetero Coquette D10 and a FIB livery for the Terrorbyte. We were already aware of some of the vehicle upgrades that would be included in this update.

Last week, we learned that the Predator Police Boat will also be included in this update. Rockstar set a challenge to earn it for free, saving players a significant amount of cash. Fans were tasked with earning $20 trillion from Heists by this Thursday. As of now, we've reached at least 15 trillion, but there's still some ground to cover before the challenge ends this Thursday.

Last week, Rockstar Games surprised everyone by announcing that a new update for GTA Online is coming in December. They shared a lot of details and some screenshots. They also said that the "Expanded and Enhanced" features for the next-gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, will be available on PC in 2025.

Rockstar's latest community update was released just days before Take-Two Interactive’s earnings report for investors. Many fans thought a second trailer for GTA 6 might be coming soon because of the developer's past patterns and the timing of the report. However, there’s no news about GTA 6—only some big updates for GTA Online.

GTA Online Community Update

Now, let’s see what Rockstar said in their Newswire post about GTA Online and the upcoming update. They started by thanking players for being such a loyal community over another great year. Then, they summarized all the key content and updates they provided in 2024.

Kicking things off with a hint that “there’s still much more to come,” Rockstar announced that the next GTA Online DLC will arrive in December. This is typical, as they’ve released content updates during the holiday month for the past few years. The screenshots in this article are also from the December update.

New Business

In the update, the Darnell Bros Garment Factory will become a front for your new business. An ex-FIB officer and Pavel will help you turn it into a hub for secret missions, where you can carry out exciting and strategic new robberies. Rockstar says you can access these missions either through a computer inside the factory or with a new app on your in-game device.

New Content

The December update will include new vehicles and upgrades for your Benefactor Terrorbyte, like a Collectible Scanner that helps you find nearby treasures. There will also be updates to the Job Creator and more Dispatch Work missions.

Community Challenges will keep going, with the next one happening this month, according to Rockstar. While no specific date has been announced yet, we’ll share it on our site once it’s confirmed. If the GTA Online community succeeds as they usually do, rewards will be handed out during the December update.

Gameplay Enhancements

GTA Online will not only get new content but also general improvements. Rockstar mentioned that there will be “many more updates and enhancements on the way.” One example is that Armor stock will automatically refill when you start missions. Additionally, GTA+ members will see more updates for The Vinewood Club, including access to Hao’s Special Works, Benny’s Original Motorworks, and Drift upgrades in The Vinewood Car Club Garage’s Vehicle Workshop.

PC Improvement

Rockstar ended their Newswire post by hinting that there’s always more to come for GTA Online before GTA 6 is released. In addition to the usual event weeks, holiday celebrations, and gifts, they promised some surprises as well.

GTA V PC version will finally get the current-gen features that are only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. To recap, these new console versions include Hao’s Special Works Auto Shop, GTA+, special vehicles, ray tracing, a career builder, and more. This update is expected to arrive in early 2025. Rockstar mentioned that more details will be shared on their Newswire.

Last week, a new zombie survival mode launched in North Yankton, and this week the UFO event started as usual, along with other updates. You’ll also be able to unlock a new shocker melee weapon, but that won’t be happening next week, so just hang tight. Now, let’s talk about next week.

Tez2, Rockstar Games insider has shared on gta.logan.rest that the Jack O’ Lanterns collectibles will return to GTA Online next week. From Thursday, October 24th to the 30th, 200 pumpkins will be hidden around Los Santos.

After collecting 10 pumpkins, players will earn the Horror Pumpkin Mask. If you manage to find all 200, you’ll unlock the Pumpkin Tee.

If you log into GTA Online during those dates, you’ll get a reward. Rockstar will give all players the Green Flaming Skull Mask just for logging in.

The community challenge is almost finished. GTA Online players are likely to complete it in the next few hours or days. If the challenge is completed by Thursday, you’ll receive the Purple Glow and Green Glow Skeleton Onesies as rewards.

In the meantime, Rockstar is giving out Día de Muertos masks. The Clone Slasher mode has also returned.

People in Southern San Andreas have seen UFOs! In this guide, we'll share more about this exciting event with UFOs in GTA Online. This isn't the first time UFOs have appeared in Blaine County and Los Santos. Last Halloween, locals dealt with strange weather and saw UFOs flying above them.

GTA Online UFO Event

Starting October 15th, a new UFO or a few will show up on the map every day. The location will change each day, but they'll appear at the same time for the first part of the event: between 10 PM and 4 AM in-game time. Once the Halloween weather kicks in, they’ll be visible from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM in-game time. You’ll have a chance to photograph a total of 26 UFOs over the next few weeks.

To find a UFO, just look for one and get close, but not too close. If you take a photo of the UFO using Snapmatic, you can send it to Omega on your iFruit phone. The option to send it will show up once you’re close enough and have taken the photo.

You’ll earn GTA$ and RP for each photo you take. For a standard UFO, you’ll get $15,000 and 1,000 RP. Stealth UFOs are harder to find, so they’ll give you $50,000 and 1,000 RP. If you manage to photograph every unique UFO, you’ll unlock special rewards at the end of October: UFO Boxer Shorts, a “???” tee, and a Glow Believe Cap!

At the end of this event later in the month, you’ll receive a new weapon: a melee stun rod called The Shocker. More details about it will be shared soon!

Rockstar Games has just put out a new update for GTA Online, only a few days after the last one. This update added a new anti-cheat system called BattlEye. While it has stopped many cheating tools in the game, it also removed support for Steam Deck and Linux, among other issues.

First noticed by Gtamen on Twitter, this new patch is a minor update aimed at fixing problems in the PC version of GTA Online. Below, you can find the download sizes for different PC versions along with the patch notes.

OneStopRedditor on the GTA Online subreddit has put together unofficial patch notes because Rockstar's own notes are quite vague. The community-sourced notes show that there are many changes and improvements to the security of GTA Online.

How to get a rare Liberty City license plate in GTA Online

If you complete The Podium Robbery in GTA Online, you can take ownership of the car involved in that job. This is a rare event in the game. Since the release of The Chop Shop, there have been only a few instances where players could make a car their personal vehicle after completing a robbery.

This week in The Podium Robbery, you can obtain the Karin Boor with the Liberty City plate. Normally priced at $1,280,000 from Southern San Andreas Super Autos, completing this robbery allows you to make it your personal vehicle for just $20,000. This represents a substantial discount—it's a steal!

Moreover, there's a way to further reduce the cost by half. If you own a Document Forgery office, you'll only need to pay $10,000 in GTA cash. The office doesn't need to be active; you just need to have purchased it. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire the Karin Boor if you don't already own one.

Those who have previously claimed cars and plates know that changing the plate design would cause them to lose that option. But don’t worry, Rockstar Games has addressed this in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update. 

Not only is GTA known for its basic stories and gameplay, but it also impresses its fans with impious references and critiques of politics, pop culture, and real-life happenings. This signature seems to be continuously shown in GTA 6 as we have seen in the trailer. As to GTA Online which has just received a major Bottom Dollar Bounties update, this is an old story.

Yesterday, a Reddit user named Bubbly_Yak6388 shared an image implying the game has come with a new The Matrix reference. Specifically, some cars in the game are named after the main characters in the movie series, such as Oracle, Rhinehart, Cypher, Zion, Niobe, and Sentinel.

GTA Online cars and The Matrix characters: Commonality

Before, many players did not see the commonality between GTA Online vehicles and the important characters from The Matrix. A fan thought that the name ‘Neon’ was quite familiar yet they could not define it till they saw Bubbly_Yak6388’s post. Another fan claimed that ‘Neo’ is also in the lineup despite not being added to the OP’s list. This is the only car made by Vysser in the game. 

In addition, in the game’s Rockstar Edition, players can apply the “Morpheus” filter. This filter has a main green color which is used in the Matrix series. Previously, GTA: Vice City enthusiasts also discovered some fascinating details of the series.

Rockstar Games released a surprise GTA Online update after launching the Bottom Dollar Bounties content update. This summer’s big GTA Online DLC brought new stuff right away, along with ongoing new content and lots of fixes for bugs.

Like many game updates nowadays, a new update in GTA Online brings along new bugs. Rockstar has managed to fix some of these bugs directly in GTA Online's backend, without needing a downloadable patch. This has allowed them to resolve issues within days instead of weeks.

As part of this update, one significant improvement is the better rotation for Dispatch Work. Rockstar has also fixed issues with early access to dripfeed content like the Stun Rod and Ludendorff Cemetery Survivals.

Bottom Dollar Bounties, the newest GTA Online DLC, came with a big update. Many changes were detailed by the company in the patch notes, but they forgot to mention stricter rules for organization names and hiding Arena War vehicle names.

Players discovered this change when they logged into GTA Online and noticed their organization name had been reset. Initially, some players thought it was a bug. However, when they tried to revert to their previous name, the system did not allow them to use it anymore.

No “drug” in your organization names

7joetaylor, a Reddit user reported that their 8-year-old organization named "Drugs 'n' Stuff" had its name reset to "An Organization." They attempted to change it back, but the game blocked them from using the word "drugs." This sparked a discussion among players who were irritated to see censorship in an 18+ game about crime.

It appears that similar restrictions have also been extended to Arena War vehicle names. According to Reddit user Doomchan, these vehicles no longer display custom names to other players.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, @G4ME_H4CK stated they lost five organization names after the Bottom Dollar Bounties update. This player had previously used symbols and other methods to bypass the word blacklist, but Rockstar has now enforced stricter rules, resulting in the removal of these names.

These rule changes have led some fans to speculate whether GTA 6 will be the most restrictive GTA game yet, especially concerning chat, custom names, and other features.

Rockstar Games has a history of tightening rules in GTA Online. Earlier this year, they implemented a new AI-powered voice-chat moderation system to address abuse during multiplayer sessions.

GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties is out now with 18 Standard Bail Jumpers and 6 Most Wanted Bail Jumpers. Check out who they are and how much you can earn from each target here. Besides, you can do Dispatch Works to earn extras.

Most Wanted Bail Jumpers

Janette's daughter will show you the targets' information who you have to hunt for. Most wanted bail jumpers give players a big sum of bounty. There are six most wanted bail jumpers in total, including:

• Grace Whitney
• Chaz Lieberman
• Leroy O'Neil
• Brock Thompson
• Cleo Song
• Omar Garcia

These most wanted targets will be reset after 24 hours. Their names are marked in red on the computer to tell them apart from daily standard targets.

Standard Bail Jumpers

There are 18 standard bail jumpers in different groups categorized in Jenette's files on her computer. She will give you a set of three standard targets and one high-valued most wanted target per day. Here are all standard bail jumpers to hunt for.

You can see their names marked in green on the computer. Each standard target gives you GTA$36,000 while each most-wanted target gives you up to GTA$129,000. After hunting all targets, you can earn around GTA$1,500,000. Remember that there is a 48-minute cooldown between two standard bounties.

Note: How To Avoid Bounty Penalty

Players must apprehend bail jumpers alive to get full bounties. You will get a bounty penalty of 75% of the final rewards. Therefore, you must disarm the targets by aiming and shooting their hands when approaching them.

Another way to hinder the bail jumper is by using a stun gun. You can get full rewards after transporting them alive to the cops. Don't shoot them down, please! It will cause a huge loss to your bounties. The penalty is applied on both Standard and Most Wanted Bail Jumpers.

Dispatch Work & Extra Money

Apart from daily targets, GTA Online players can take some dispatch work to get extra money. Each dispatch work can give you GTA $25,000, which is a good some of money. Wait for 5 minutes before receiving the next mission after finishing your job.

• Possession for Sale

It's highly recommended to do these dispatch missions between two bounty-hunting trips. Anyway, you must wait 48 minutes to unlock the next target to hunt for. Don't waste your time. Work hard to earn money from these easy tasks.

You can earn extra money from Agents during the GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties Update. When having two agents, you have a passive source of up to GTA$200,000. One agent can give you GTA $5,000-$10,000 every 48 minutes.

Moreover, these agents can reduce the processing time after you transfer the target to the bail office. Then, you can get your rewards earlier than normal. For example, you receive the money after 12 minutes if you have one agent or get the reward immediately when having two agents.

The new GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC can now be downloaded before its official release on June 25. Just like the early release of the San Andreas Mercenaries and The Chop Shop updates, Rockstar Games has done the same with this GTA Online big summer update.

It’s just a pre-load.

This GTA Online update is exclusively available for download on PS5 and PS4. To tell the truth, you won't be able to play the new content yet; this is just an early download which will save your download time; thence, you can start playing as soon as the update is officially live. Xbox and PC users will need to wait until the DLC's official release to begin downloading it.

There's some good news for Xbox players. Xbox is currently testing a patch pre-load feature and aims to fully implement it shortly. This means that the next major GTA Online update might also be available for pre-load, similar to PlayStation.

GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties release time

The first time pre-load was introduced for a GTA Online update was last summer with the San Andreas Mercenaries update. This was followed by The Chop Shop update in December, both of which were made available for download 48 hours in advance for PlayStation users.

As informed, GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties will come out tomorrow. The download started at 10 a.m. UK time on Sunday, which was 48 hours beforehand. PlayStation says we can start installing the Bottom Dollar Bounties update at 10 a.m. UK time on Tuesday, just as we anticipated.

GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties download size

The GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties pre-load was first noticed by @madara3_game_ch, an X user. They shared a picture of the update downloading on PS5. It's approximately 2.526GB in size and labeled as version 1.007.000. On PS4, the download size is about 3.467GB.

Compared to the previous two GTA Online DLCs, Bottom Dollar Bounties is smaller in size. The Chop Shop was 6.212GB on PS4 and 3GB on PS5, while San Andreas Mercenaries was 5.572GB on PS4 and 2.291GB on PS5. It's also somewhat unusual for a GTA Online update like Bottom Dollar Bounties to be larger on PS4 (3.467GB) than on PS5 (2.526GB), which is typically the opposite as observed in earlier updates.

Players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC will have to wait until around 10 a.m. BST on Tuesday, June 25th to download the update. We'll share the download sizes for these platforms once they're released.

GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties: What’s news?

The Bottom Dollar Bounties update for GTA Online introduces new story missions centered around Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement led by Maude Eccles. Additionally, the update includes Drift/Drag Races in creator mode, new vehicles, enhanced drifting mechanics, and various gameplay improvements.

Additionally, an important exploit utilized by hackers in GTA Online is set to be addressed in the upcoming patch. As a precaution, the Casino Heist has been temporarily disabled, and players are unable to purchase Arcades until the issue is resolved.

Tomorrow, a new GTA+ month and Event Week will kick off in GTA Online. This gives you only a few days to seize the current exclusive perks and earn significant cash in the game before the update rolls out.

In the Event Week details sent to community members on Wednesday evening, Rockstar Games hinted at the drift expansion coming in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update.

GTA Series received information indicating that the update will equip three cars with Drift Tuning. Based on their analysis of the Bottom Dollar Bounties trailer, GTA Series also believes they have identified which cars will be part of this trio.

They speculate that the vehicles involved are the Vulcar Nebula Turbo, Übermacht Cypher, and Übermacht Sentinel Classic. All three of these cars can be seen drifting in the trailer for next week’s update.

These drift upgrades are quite expensive, so if you plan to upgrade the Nebula Turbo, Cypher, or Sentinel Classic, make sure to save some extra GTA Online cash.

Story Of Bottom Dollar Bounties

According to the new teaser of the next GTA Online Weekly Update: Bottom Dollar Bounties, Maude Eccles is hunting for the head of the wrongdoing Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement. This update allows players to play on her Cop side to face Crooks in that enforcement.

In this update, you will work with Jenette - Maude's sister - to drag in and capture wrongdoers around San Andreas to claim bounties. After clearing streets, you will receive lots of GTA dollars and XP as rewards. We also expect to get double GTA$ and XP from this mission in the next weekly update.

Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement Location

According to the X user @GTA GFX, the location of Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement is moved to the building opposite the Mission Row Police Station.

From the teaser video, we can also expect many new cop cars to drive in the new update, including:

• Declasse Impaler SZ
• Bravado Greenwood
