New Inazuma Character in Genshin Impact 5.4

An Inazuma character dropping in Version 5.4 makes sense, especially since both Kirara and Chiori in Genshin Impact were released only after their region's Archon Quests wrapped up. However, one could argue that adding another Inazuma character might delay a much-needed new face for Mondstadt, which has only received one new character since Eula in Version 1.5. Still, as shown with Chiori and Kirara, the developers don't hesitate to release new characters from Inazuma if the concept is solid. A recent leak shared by Flying Flame on Reddit, though questionable, suggests that after completing the Archon quests in version 5.3, players will directly unlock the C6 Pyro Traveler. Typically, in every region before Natlan, players could gain the region's element by interacting with the Statue of the Seven. However, in Natlan, players were unable to obtain the Pyro element, which suggested that something was blocking this from happening.

If the leak turns out to be true and players will receive a C6 Pyro Traveler upon completing the Genshin Impact 5.3 Archon quest, it would also mean that the bottleneck on the Pyro element in Natlan will finally be lifted. Additionally, a previous leak had suggested that the Pyro Traveler would be as useful in Genshin Impact as the Harmony Trailblazer from Honkai Star Rail. This is exciting news, as it means we’ll finally have a version of the Traveler that is truly effective in combat.

When a new big nation is introduced in Genshin Impact, the game usually adds smaller areas that have features similar to those of the main region. The latest Special Program livestream shared a lot of new details about the upcoming update, including a new map expansion.

This new area is called Ochkanatlan, or "The Fabled Forbidden Ground." It's described as an ancient city hidden in thick fog, with a powerful dragon lurking deep within. The post also mentions that the region is corrupted by the Abyss, one of the game's main enemy factions. In addition to the "great dragon," players can expect to encounter other, weaker dragons as well.

Genshin Impact Teases Legendary Dragon & Aerial Adventures in Update 5.2

It looks like players won't just explore the depths of Ochkanatlan's ancient city. According to legend, a secret is also hidden in the skies above, and one of the screenshots shows that players will be able to soar high above the city. Many fans are speculating about the identity of the great dragon, with some hoping it's the Pyro Dragon, one of the Seven Sovereigns in Genshin Impact.

It wouldn't be surprising if the great dragon is tied to one of the Seven Sovereigns, especially since the previous Archon Chapter introduced Neuvillette, a reincarnation of the Hydro Dragon. Some fans have even expressed interest in seeing a Pyro version of Neuvillette in the game, especially given his reputation as one of the strongest Hydro DPS units in Genshin Impact.

To tell the truth, Neuvillette could make an appearance in the game soon, as HoYoverse has confirmed he'll be featured on the Phase 2 banner in Genshin Impact Version 5.2. The first part of the update will introduce two new playable characters: the five-star Anemo DPS Chasca and the four-star support character Ororon, both of whom are expected to arrive on November 20.

• Ororon: Taunt range is 8 meters, which is longer than most characters, and Particle Generation increased from 3 to 4.

The recent changes to Chasca will let her remain airborne longer, boosting her overall DPS potential. Leaks suggest that Chasca’s abilities will focus on her Elemental Skill, which allows her to fly while riding her gun. In this airborne state, she can fire her gun, delivering powerful elemental damage to groups of enemies. The type of elemental damage Chasca deals will depend on her team composition.

Ororon’s increased Particle Generation could enhance his role as a support unit in Genshin Impact.
