Exciting news for Genshin Impact players! Recent leaks hint at a free character arriving in the highly anticipated 5.5 update. The information, shared by the reliable leaker Seele, has sparked discussions across the community. While leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, this one has certainly captured players’ attention.

Who is the Free Character in Genshin Impact 5.5?

According to the latest reports, a new 4-star Electro Bow user named Ororon will be available for free during the main event of update 5.5. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because Ororon first made waves in version 5.2, where his off-field Electro damage potential impressed many fans.

Ororon’s Abilities and Playstyle

If the leaks are accurate, Ororon will bring a unique set of skills that enhance his role as a strong off-field support:

  • Elemental Skill: Fires an Electro-charged shot that jumps between enemies, continuously dealing Electro damage.
  • Elemental Burst: Summons a construct that lures nearby enemies while delivering sustained Electro attacks.
  • Passive Talent: Enhances Electro DMG in specific conditions, particularly when enemies take Electro-Charged damage or when teammates utilize Nightsoul-aligned abilities.

These abilities suggest that Ororon will be an excellent addition to teams focusing on Electro-based reactions. Players who don’t have him yet can secure him at no cost, while those who already own him can work toward unlocking additional constellations to boost his performance.

Genshin Impact 5 5 Leaks 2

While official details remain under wraps, past patterns suggest that the main event will feature multiple challenges, rewarding players with various prizes—including Ororon. Genshin Impact has a history of giving away 4-star characters through special events, so this leak seems plausible.

As always, keep in mind that leaks are subject to change, and final details will be revealed by HoYoverse closer to the update’s launch. That said, if this leak holds true, it’s an exciting opportunity for players to expand their rosters without spending Primogems. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches!

<![CDATA[Genshin Impact: Iansan's Potential As A 5-Star Character in Version 5.4]]> https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-iansans-potential-as-a-5-star-character-in-version-5-4-24346 Mon, 30 Dec 2024 07:28:00 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-iansans-potential-as-a-5-star-character-in-version-5-4-24346
A recent leak from the Genshin Impact community claims that Iansan could be a 5-Star character in Version 5.4.]]>

Natlan has already introduced many fan-favorite characters, but Iansan has been known to Genshin Impact players since the Travail trailer in 2020. Her element was confirmed as Electro during the Ignition teaser for Natlan. However, her rarity has been a topic of debate among fans and leakers, especially leading up to Version 5.3.

Genshin Impact Iansan
Genshin Impact Iansan

The latest information about Iansan in Genshin Impact is that she is expected to launch in Version 5.4. This update will introduce a new area in Natlan, and Iansan will be important for giving players the ability to explore in ways similar to the Tatankasaurus from the Collective of Plenty. Version 5.4 will also add Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo character from Inazuma, to the game. While many believed Iansan would be the 4-Star character of Version 5.4, there’s a chance Genshin Impact may have changed their plans.

Miruko has revealed that Iansan will be a 5-Star Electro character. Known for leaking content like Capitano's sword model and music from Version 5.0, Miruko has a solid track record of sharing early Genshin Impact info. However, this claim is one of the boldest in recent patches. Miruko also mentioned that the information is two months old, meaning the developers might have changed their mind about Iansan's rarity after the Archon Quest in Version 5.1.

Genshin Impact Iansan Leak
The latest information about Iansan in Genshin Impact is that she is expected to launch in Version 5.4

Nevertheless, this leak should be taken with caution for a few reasons. Iansan's symbol appears in the Pilgrim's Chronicle alongside Ororon and Kachina, both of whom are 4-Star characters from Natlan. If Iansan were a 5-Star character, her symbol would likely be placed in the Tribal Chronicle instead. Based on this, the logical assumption in the game is that Iansan is the 4-Star character from the Collective of Plenty, while Varesa is the 5-Star character from the tribe.

Additionally, the list of upcoming Genshin Impact characters places Iansan alongside Varesa, who isn't expected to debut until Version 5.5. Looking at past releases, like Kachina being followed by Xilonen and Ororon being followed by Citlali, there seems to be a pattern of releasing a 4-Star character from a Natlan tribe before their 5-Star counterpart. This is likely because 5-Star characters have an upgraded version of their tribe's exploration ability. Fortunately, players won’t have to wait long to find out Iansan's rarity, as her drip marketing is expected to start soon. Version 5.4 is set to launch on February 12, 2025.

<![CDATA[Genshin Impact Leak Hints at Potential Nerf for Mavuika]]> https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-leak-hints-at-potential-nerf-for-mavuika-24300 Mon, 09 Dec 2024 06:04:00 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-leak-hints-at-potential-nerf-for-mavuika-24300
The recent updates to Mavuika in Genshin Impact enhance her damage potential as a hypercarry, though they also make her more niche.]]>

The recent updates to Mavuika in Genshin Impact enhance her damage potential as a hypercarry, though they also make her more niche. Natlan has diverged from Genshin Impact's usual patterns, with Version 5.3 being the first Lantern Rite event not to feature a 5-star character from Liyue. Additionally, rumors suggest that Citlali and Mavuika will both appear on the Event Banners during the same phase of the patch.

Mavuika Genshin Impact
The recent updates to Mavuika in Genshin Impact enhance her damage potential as a hypercarry...

Mavuika is an unusual Archon in Genshin Impact, as she is designed to be one of the game's most powerful hypercarries rather than a universal Support character. While her off-field potential isn't bad, her abilities seem to be focused on maximizing field time. This design choice has sparked controversy among players—some were hoping Mavuika would offer an alternative to 4-star characters like Bennett and Xiangling, while others are excited by the idea of a hypercarry Archon. However, the latest changes to Mavuika are unlikely to satisfy either group.

According to Rain, the latest beta build for Version 5.3 brings a major nerf to Mavuika's Fighting Spirit. Instead of using Elemental Energy, Mavuika now accumulates Fighting Spirit to trigger her Elemental Burst, with two methods to do so. One is by having her party members spend Nightsoul points, and the other is by having them hit enemies with Normal Attacks. The new build reduces the amount of Fighting Spirit gained from Normal Attacks by 0.25, which benefits Natlan characters, as using Nightsoul points remains the most efficient way to generate Fighting Spirit.

Genshin Impact Leak From Rain

Genshin Impact: Mavuika Changes (V4)

Elemental Burst Constellations
  • Hour of Burning Skies
Mavuika gains 1.25 Fighting Spirit (down from 1.5) whenever nearby party members' Normal Attacks hit opponents.
  • The Ashen Price (C2)
While in the Nightsoul's Blessing State, Mavuika's Base ATK increases by 250 (up from 200).

Although a 0.25 decrease may seem minor, it disrupts many potential non-Natlan teams. With the new changes, even Normal Attack-focused characters like Ayato would struggle to fill up Mavuika's Fighting Spirit, as he previously only just managed to reach the minimum required during a standard rotation. This essentially limits Mavuika to Natlan Support characters like Citlali and Xilonen. The second major change to Mavuika in Genshin Impact boosts her second Constellation, further enhancing her potential as a hypercarry.

The Pyro Archon has a strong fanbase and will likely have a popular banner in Version 5.3, but many players are questioning if the changes have made her less appealing. Despite having higher numbers than Arlecchino or Hu Tao in Genshin Impact, Mavuika lacks flexibility in choosing her teammates. Additionally, her Constellations lock significant power away from her base kit, a criticism also directed at both Citlali and Mavuika after the initial balance changes. Version 5.3 is set to launch on January 1, 2025, and players will be able to pull for Mavuika right away.

<![CDATA[Genshin Impact Leak: Details on Pyro Traveler's Abilities]]> https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-leak-details-on-pyro-travelers-abilities-24270 Wed, 20 Nov 2024 07:30:58 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-leak-details-on-pyro-travelers-abilities-24270
Although theorycrafters haven't analyzed it yet, the latest Genshin Impact leak gives players a first look at the Pyro Traveler's much-anticipated abilities.]]>

Genshin Impact players haven't always been thrilled with the Traveler's ability kits over time. The Electro Traveler was seen as underwhelming by most fans, and the Hydro Traveler was widely criticized. The one kit where the Traveler really stood out was Dendro, which gave players a strong way to apply Dendro off-field at a good pace.

The developers have been careful about giving the Traveler in Genshin Impact a powerful ability kit for a straightforward reason: like the starting characters from Mondstadt, the Traveler and their different kits are free and available to everyone. However, the Natlan region changed things by restricting access to the Pyro Traveler until players complete the Archon Quest. With the final chapter of Natlan's story coming in Version 5.3, the Pyro Traveler is now set to make their playable debut.

Pyro Traveler Kit By Seele

Pyro Traveler Kit By Seele 2

The latest information comes from Seele Leaks, who accessed the beta servers for Version 5.3. It offers a detailed look at the Pyro Traveler's Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, and final Constellation. However, the leak cautioned players to manage their expectations for the Pyro Traveler, as their ability kit has been heavily speculated on since the launch of Natlan.

Pyro Traveler's Ability Kit Leaked

Pyro Travelers Ability Kit Leak

Ascension: ATK

Elemental Skill:

  • Short E: Summons a ring that deals Pyro damage to nearby enemies. The range is larger than Barbara's, but smaller than Nilou's.
  • Long E: Applies an effect similar to the Skyward Atlas weapon, where it targets and attacks nearby enemies.

Elemental Burst:

  • The Elemental Skill deals damage and restores Nightsoul points to the party. The Nightsoul gauge also influences the duration of the Elemental Skill's effects.

Constellations:

  • Gets Pyro infusion at C6.

While some Genshin Impact players may be disappointed with the Pyro Traveler, there could still be potential in their ability kit. With the Nightsoul mechanics in play, the Pyro Traveler can wield the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City, and their Elemental Burst can restore Nightsoul points to other party members. This creates solid synergy with Mavuika, especially if the Pyro Archon takes on a hypercarry role within the team.

That said, the Pyro Traveler could find a more viable niche alongside Mualani in Genshin Impact. Their ability to apply off-field Pyro while using the new Natlan Artifact Set would be a valuable role to fill, making the Pyro Traveler more useful than the Hydro counterpart from Fontaine. While the exact method of unlocking the Pyro Traveler remains unclear, players speculate that they may earn all six Constellations through the six Natlan tribes. Version 5.3 is expected to make its way on January 1, 2025.

Natlan: New Era in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact New Characters

The new Natlan region has generated a lot of excitement among players eager to see new characters. Genshin Impact, a fixture in the gaming scene, consistently delivers with its updates, introducing at least one new character each time. This time, we can look forward to Chasca and Ororon!

Genshin Impact Chasca: Abilities & Gameplay

Chasca is expected to be an Anemo character and plays a significant role in the story of Natlan. Known as the Peacemaker of the Tlalocan tribe, one of the six clans in Natlan, she is referred to as a Skyborne Arbiter.

Details are limited, but rumors suggest that Chasca will be a DPS character with qualities similar to Wanderer and Clorinde. Her kit is said to include gunshot sounds like those associated with Clorinde, and her Anemo abilities may allow her to float in the air, closely resembling Wanderer’s Elemental Skill.

Ororon Genshin Impact: Role & Power Dynamic

Next, we have Ororon, known as the Shadow of the Night-Wind. This enigmatic character hails from the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe and has sparked fan theories linking him to Genshin Impact's Harbingers through his connections with Capitano. However, it seems unlikely that Ororon will be a Harbinger, as all previously introduced Harbingers have been 5-star characters.

Ororon is anticipated to be an Electro character and could potentially play a supportive role in battles, according to recent leaks. That said, it’s wise to take all leaks with a grain of salt and not treat them as final until more details about the 5.2 beta are released.

Alongside Chasca and Ororon, the unique Nightsoul point system from Natlan will be introduced, adding depth and complexity to gameplay mechanics. While players are eager for more concrete information, they'll need to wait for the 5.2 beta to learn more about Chasca and Ororon's abilities. Stay tuned, as this update promises thrilling new gameplay and rich stories in the vibrant world of Genshin Impact!

<![CDATA[Top 8 Weapons For Xilonen in Genshin Impact]]> https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/top-8-weapons-for-xilonen-in-genshin-impact-24186 Wed, 09 Oct 2024 03:16:00 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/top-8-weapons-for-xilonen-in-genshin-impact-24186
Equipping the right weapons is crucial for maximizing Xilonen's potential in Genshin Impact. Here are the top 8 weapons that can enhance her performance.]]>

When talking about support characters in Genshin Impact, you'll definitely hear about Furina, Bennett, and Kazuha. Interestingly, all three of these top support characters use swords as their weapon.

Xilonen, a new character introduced in version 4.1, also wields a sword. She’s a great support character, but her buffs don’t rely on specific stats—they're flat and depend on her Skill level. Still, equipping her with the best weapons in Genshin Impact is a good idea, especially if the sword provides extra support or offensive effects to enhance her role in battle.

Table of Contents

  • 1. Peak Patrol Song
  • 2. Uraku Misugiri
  • 3. Flute of Ezpitzal
  • 4. Haran Geppaku Futsu
  • 5. Cinnabar Spindle
  • 6. Freedom-Sworn
  • 7. Favonius Sword
  • 8. Harbinger of Dawn

1. Peak Patrol Song

Peak Patrol Song Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 82.7% DEF
  • R1 Effect: When you hit an opponent with Normal or Plunging Attacks, you gain "Ode to Flowers," which increases your DEF by 8% and grants a 10% All Elemental DMG Bonus for 6 seconds. You can stack this effect up to 2 times, and it can trigger once every 0.1 seconds. If you reach 2 stacks or refresh the duration of the second stack, all nearby party members receive an All Elemental DMG Bonus of 8% for every 1,000 DEF the character has, up to a maximum of 25.6%, lasting for 15 seconds.

The Peak Patrol Song is the best weapon for Xilonen. It boosts both her DPS and DEF while offering a supportive passive. For maximizing both her damage and support capabilities, this sword is the ideal choice.

2. Uraku Misugiri

Uraku Misugiril Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 88.2% Crit DMG
  • R1 Effect: Normal Attack DMG is boosted by 16%, and Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 24%. When a nearby active character deals Geo DMG, these effects double for 15 seconds. Plus, the wielder's DEF is raised by 20%.

Since both Chiori and Xilonen are DEF-Geo characters, Chiori's weapon is an excellent choice for enhancing Xilonen's DPS.

3. Flute of Ezpitzal

Flute Of Ezpitzal Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 69.0% DEF
  • R5 Effect: Activating an Elemental Skill raises DEF by 32% for 15 seconds.

In contrast to Cinnabar Spindle, Flute of Ezpitzal is very easy to obtain since it’s one of the five forgeable weapons in Genshin Impact's Natlan. Just visit the local blacksmith to get the blueprint and craft the sword.

4. Haran Geppaku Futsu

Haran Geppaku Futsu Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 33.1% Crit Rate
  • R1 Effect: You gain a 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. When nearby party members use Elemental Skills, the character with this weapon earns 1 Wavespike stack, with a maximum of 2 stacks. This effect can trigger once every 0.3 seconds. When the character uses an Elemental Skill, all Wavespike stacks are consumed to grant Rippling Upheaval, increasing Normal Attack DMG by 20% for 8 seconds for each stack used.

Players using Xilonen as a DPS would ideally want 5-star weapons that boost Critical Rate and DMG, and among those, Haran Geppaku Futsu stands out. Since DPS Xilonen relies heavily on her Normal Attacks, Ayato’s signature weapon is a great match for her.

5. Cinnabar Spindle

Cinnabar Spindle Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 69.0% DEF
  • R5 Effect: Elemental Skill DMG is boosted by 80% of DEF. This effect can trigger a maximum of once every 1.5 seconds and will reset 0.1 seconds after the Elemental Skill deals damage.

Xilonen requires DEF for both her damage and healing, making DEF-focused weapons like Cinnabar Spindle great options for her. Unfortunately, this sword is only available to players who participated in the event during version 2.3, so not everyone can access it.

6. Freedom-Sworn

Freedom Sworn Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 198 Elemental Mastery
  • R1 Effect: This weapon is part of the "Millennial Movement" that travels with the winds and increases DMG by 10%. When the character wielding it triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion, which can occur once every 0.5 seconds, even if the character is off the field. When you have 2 Sigils of Rebellion, they are consumed to grant all nearby party members "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12 seconds. This effect boosts Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% and increases ATK by 20%. After this effect activates, you won’t gain any more Sigils of Rebellion for 20 seconds. Note that buffs of the same type from the "Millennial Movement" will not stack.

While Xilonen doesn't specifically require Elemental Mastery, Freedom-Sworn is still a great sword for support characters overall. She can easily trigger Elemental Reactions, particularly Crystallized, while attacking enemies.

7. Favonius Sword

Favonius Sword Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 61.3% Energy Recharge
  • R5 Effect: CRIT hits guarantee the generation of a small amount of Elemental Particles, restoring 6 Energy for the character. This effect can activate only once every 6 seconds.

When thinking about weapons for a support character, Sacrificial and Favonius weapons come to mind. For Xilonen, the Favonius Sword is ideal for providing Energy Recharge and enabling her to function as a Battery in Genshin Impact. Just remember to equip a Crit Rate Circlet to effectively trigger its passive.

8. Harbinger of Dawn

Harbinger Of Dawn Genshin Impact

  • Primary Stat: 401 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 46.9% CRIT DMG
  • R5 Effect: When HP is above 90%, CRIT Rate is increased by 28%.

This 3-star weapon in Genshin Impact is surprisingly powerful. It offers a high Crit Value despite its low Base ATK. Fortunately, characters like Albedo and Xilonen, who don't rely on ATK scaling, can benefit from it without concern. As a result, Harbinger of Dawn is one of the top choices for DPS Xilonen. If players can maintain full uptime on its passive, it could even outperform some 5-star weapons.

An interesting chart for Genshin Impact shows the most popular characters used in Phase 1 of Version 5.0's Spiral Abyss. This challenging domain is known as the toughest content in the game, featuring some of its most powerful enemies.]]>

The enemy lineup in the Spiral Abyss changes about every two weeks, so players must constantly adjust their party setups to exploit their opponents' weaknesses. Unlike the enemies found in the overworld, those in this domain are significantly stronger, especially in the later floors, often boasting a large health pool.

hxg_diluc has posted a chart on X that ranks Genshin Impact characters by their popularity in Phase 1 of the Genshin Impact 5.0's Spiral Abyss.

Top 5 Spiral Abyss Phase 1 Characters in Genshin Impact 5.0

  1. Furina (81.7%)
  2. Kazuha (74.2%)
  3. Zhongli (72.4%)
  4. Bennett (69.7)
  5. Neuvillette (67.7%)
Furina Genshin Impact
Furina

Leading the list is the renowned Hydro Archon, Lady Furina, with an impressive usage rate of 81.7%. She is widely regarded as the top Hydro support in Genshin Impact, able to fit seamlessly into almost any team that needs a strong Hydro character. Furina’s unique ability to alternate between Ousia and Pneuma energy makes her an invaluable asset in both the Spiral Abyss and while exploring Teyvat. One of her key strengths is that most of her skills activate even when she’s off the field, making her a powerful off-field character.

Kazuha Genshin Impact
Kazuha

In second place is the popular Anemo support, Kaedehara Kazuha. Even though he was released over two years ago, he is still regarded as the strongest Anemo support in Genshin Impact. Kazuha's abilities enable him to apply various crowd-control effects on enemies while also delivering significant damage boosts to his teammates.

Zhongli Genshin Impact
Zhongli

The Geo user Zhongli, another Archon, secured third place on the list. Like Kazuha, Zhongli is one of the older characters in Genshin Impact, yet he remains the preferred Geo user for many Travelers. While Geo has been somewhat overlooked in the current meta, Zhongli’s ability to provide the strongest shield in the game is still a significant asset.

Bennett Genshin Impact
Bennett

In fourth place is Bennett, a four-star Pyro sword user, who is considered the best Pyro support in Genshin Impact. Despite his lower rarity, Bennett’s ability to offer exceptional healing and damage buffs with his Fantastic Voyage is unmatched by any other Pyro character in the game. Some fans in the comments noted that the presence of these older characters at the top of the Spiral Abyss chart shows how effectively HoYoverse has handled power creep in the game.

Neuvillette Genshin Impact
Neuvillette

The fifth place honors Neuvillette, a prominent character in the Hydro Nation of Fontaine in Genshin Impact. He is a distinguished judge and the current head of the Fontaine Court of Justice. You can learn more about him here.

Here are the best weapons for Kinich in Genshin Impact to help him reach his full potential. Let's check them out!]]>

Kinich is a new character in Genshin Impact. He uses a claymore and focuses on dealing damage with Dendro reactions. To maximize his damage, picking the right weapon is very important.

Luckily, Kinich can use different weapons, both high-end and more common, which makes his setup flexible. He works best with top 5-star claymores, but he can still do well with several easier-to-get options. Here are the best weapons for Kinich in Genshin Impact to help him reach his full potential.

Table of Contents

  • 1. Fang of the Mountain King
  • 2. Beacon of the Reed Sea
  • 3. Serpent Spine
  • 4. Verdict
  • 5. Earth Shaker
  • 6. Wolf’s Gravestone
  • 7. Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword

1. Fang of the Mountain King

Fang Of The Mountain King

Primary Stat 740 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 11% CRIT Rate
R1 Effect You gain 1 stack of Canopy's Favor after hitting an enemy with your Elemental Skill, which can happen every 0.5 seconds. If a nearby teammate triggers a Burning or Burgeon reaction, the character will gain 3 stacks, which can occur every 2 seconds, even if that teammate is not on the field. Canopy's Favor increases Elemental Skill and Burst damage by 10% for 6 seconds, with a maximum of 6 stacks. Each stack is counted separately.

Kinich's best weapon is the Fang of the Mountain King, which is his signature claymore. It has a high Base ATK but a lower Crit Rate. However, this can be balanced out by using the Obsidian Codex set and good sub-stats. This weapon also greatly increases Elemental Skill damage, especially in Burning or Burgeon teams, although you don’t need to rely on those reactions to perform well.

It's important to note that the Fang of the Mountain King is quite specialized and mainly benefits Kinich. If players aren’t planning to invest heavily in him as a primary DPS, it might be better to save Primogems for future character banners instead of focusing on this weapon.

2. Beacon of the Reed Sea

Beacon Of The Reed Sea

Primary Stat 608 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 33.1% CRIT Rate
R1 Effect When the character's Elemental Skill hits an enemy, their ATK goes up by 20% for 8 seconds. If they take damage, their ATK also increases by 20% for 8 seconds. Both effects can occur even if the character is not on the field. Additionally, if a shield doesn’t protect the character, their Max HP is boosted by 32%.

Another great weapon for Kinich is the Beacon of the Reed Sea. It has a high Crit Rate and can boost ATK by up to 40% when players use his Elemental Skill or take damage—conditions that are easy to achieve with Kinich. Plus, if there’s no shielder in the team, the weapon also increases his max HP, which helps improve his survivability.

Generally, the Beacon of the Reed Sea is one of the best options for Kinich. It offers great damage potential and flexibility in different team setups, making it a strong choice right after his signature weapon.

3. Serpent Spine

Serpent Spine Weapon Genshin Impact

Primary Stat 510 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 27.6% Crit Rate
R5 Effect For every 4 seconds a character remains on the field, their damage increases by 6%, and their damage taken increases by 3%. This effect can stack up to 5 times and persists even when the character leaves the field. However, it will be reduced by 1 stack whenever the character takes damage.

Even though Serpent Spine is a 4-star weapon, it outperforms many other options, coming in just after Kinich's signature weapon and another top 5-star choice. Players who have regularly acquired and refined this weapon through the Battle Pass will find it very effective for Kinich, especially if they can reduce incoming damage. Since Kinich can stay on the field for a long time without switching, he can quickly build up the weapon's stacks, increasing his damage output.

Also, its secondary stat, Crit Rate, is very useful, letting players focus on Crit DMG for artifact substats and the circlet. When combined with the Obsidian Codex, this setup ensures a high Crit Rate while maximizing damage from Kinich’s Elemental Skill and Burst.

Although newer Battle Pass weapons like Talking Stick can be effective for Kinich, Serpent Spine is the superior option if players need to choose between them. It provides more versatility, especially in team compositions, thanks to its higher Crit Rate boost and stacking damage effect, making it more dependable for sustained damage.

4. Verdict

Verdict Weapon Genshin Impact

Primary Stat 674 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 22% Crit Rate
R5 Effect Boosts ATK by 20%. When party members collect Elemental Shards from Crystallize reactions, the character using this weapon gains 1 Seal, boosting Elemental Skill DMG by 18%. Each Seal lasts for 15 seconds, and the character can have up to 2 Seals at the same time. All Seals will disappear 0.2 seconds after the character's Elemental Skill deals damage.

Verdict, Navia's signature weapon, can be a great choice for Kinich because they share similar stat needs, both benefiting from ATK and Crit values and focusing on Elemental Skill DMG. While Verdict works perfectly with Navia as a Geo character, its passive ability can still help Kinich if there's a Geo character and at least one other element in the team to trigger Crystallize reactions. Even though Dendro doesn’t directly interact with Geo, this setup allows Kinich to partially benefit from Verdict's effects in mixed-element teams.

5. Earth Shaker

Earth Shaker

Primary Stat 565 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 27.6% ATK
R5 Effect When a party member triggers a Pyro-related reaction, the equipped character's Elemental Skill DMG increases by 32% for 8 seconds. This effect can be activated even if the triggering party member is not currently on the field.

Among free-to-play weapons, the Earth Shaker from Natlan is Kinich's best option, particularly when fully refined. This claymore offers a significant ATK boost and its passive ability enhances Kinich's Elemental Skill DMG, making it ideal for Burning or Burgeon teams. While it may limit team composition somewhat, Earth Shaker is a solid choice for players seeking less conventional Dendro reactions, especially when paired with supportive units like Emilie.

6. Wolf’s Gravestone

Wolfs Gravestone

Primary Stat 608 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 49.6% ATK
R1 Effect Boosts ATK by 20%. When hitting opponents with less than 30% HP, all party members' ATK is boosted by 40% for 12 seconds. This effect can happen only once every 30 seconds.

Another great weapon for Kinich is the Wolf's Gravestone, which provides a strong ATK boost from its secondary stat and passive effect. As a weapon in the standard gacha pool, it’s easier to obtain than many limited-time premium options, while still offering excellent performance for a DPS build. The high ATK boost lets players focus more on Crit Rate and Crit DMG in artifact sub-stats, making it easier to optimize Kinich's overall damage output without sacrificing important stats.

7. Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword

Ultimate Overlords Mega Magic Sword

Primary Stat 565 Base ATK
Secondary Stat 30.6% Energy Recharge
R5 Effect The support from all the Melusines you've helped in Merusea Village boosts your strength! Depending on how many you've assisted, your ATK can increase by 24%.

The Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword, a free-to-play weapon introduced in version 4.3, grows stronger based on player interactions with Melusines in Fontaine. For Kinich, this weapon provides a significant ATK boost and Energy Recharge, making it a valuable asset in battle.

A trusted source in the Genshin Impact community gives a great look at Mavuika's skills. The Pyro Archon is getting ready to join the game in Version 5.3.]]>

Genshin Impact has many popular characters, but the Archons are in a league of their own. Each Archon represents their nation and is the main character for their region. This is particularly true for Furina, who has given up her divine power to Neuvillette.

Unlike the playable Harbingers in Genshin Impact, Archons usually focus on Support abilities. Zhongli is known for his Elemental Shield, and Raiden helps many teams with Energy Recharge. Players are particularly excited about Mavuika for two main reasons: Bennett and Xiangling, two popular Pyro 4-Star characters who have been key to the game’s meta since the start.

Players expect Mavuika to fill a role that only Bennett and Xiangling have managed to cover. According to FouL, this expectation is likely correct. Mavuika's abilities are similar to a mix of Raiden and Yelan. Her Elemental Skill either gives a buff to the active character for follow-up Pyro attacks or infuses her own attacks with Pyro when held. Her Elemental Burst creates a Pyro attack that happens every two seconds.

A Potential Meta Shift in Genshin Impact

Mavuika has a key advantage over other Pyro off-field characters: she can use Natlan's Artifact Sets in Genshin Impact. Although Xiangling and Bennett will still be preferred in some cases, Mavuika could be a great upgrade for characters like Clorinde, assuming her abilities make it to the beta. On the field, Mavuika’s Pyro infusion could make her a strong hypercarry at C0 if paired with Xianyun. Additionally, in the open world, Mavuika can use a Phlogiston motorcycle to ride up mountains, across water, or on flat ground.

Mavuika's abilities don’t overlap with Bennett’s, as her Pyro infusion affects only herself. So, players might need to wait for another Pyro 5-Star to rival Bennett from Mare Jivari. Xbalanque could be a possible contender, though his status as a playable character is still uncertain. Mavuika is expected to join Genshin Impact in the first half of Version 5.3, which is set to release on January 1, 2025.

<![CDATA[Genshin Impact: Xilonen's Power Limitations in Latest Leaks]]> https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-xilonens-power-limitations-in-latest-leaks-24096 Fri, 06 Sep 2024 03:11:00 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/mobile-games/genshin-impact-xilonens-power-limitations-in-latest-leaks-24096
A recent datamine in Genshin Impact reveals that Xilonen's exploration abilities will be quite limited. Let's find out!]]>

In Genshin Impact, Natlan characters are known for their Nightsoul's Blessing and their exploration abilities powered by Phlogiston. However, there's a key drawback: while these abilities are excellent for exploring Natlan, the rest of Teyvat lacks Phlogiston, which significantly limits how long these abilities can be used elsewhere.

According to the latest beta build for Version 5.1, as detailed by HomDGCat, Xilonen in Genshin Impact has similar limitations. While her overall abilities are exciting, her rollerblades will only last for 2 seconds outside Natlan before needing a cooldown, making her less effective compared to Yelan, whose Elemental Skill lasts 3 seconds and can be extended to 6 seconds with her first Constellation. On the plus side, Xilonen excels at climbing: her rollerblades last 6 seconds for scaling cliffs and can be extended to 20 seconds with Phlogiston.

Genshin Impact Xilonen's Nightsoul Exploration Ability

  • Climbing Mode: 5-second base duration, extendable to 20 seconds with Phlogiston.
  • Sprinting Mode: 2-second base duration, extendable to 5 seconds with Phlogiston.

Xilonen is an upcoming Geo character in Genshin Impact, and the community is eagerly anticipating her potential as a versatile 5-Star Support. She can be described as a Geo version of Kazuha with healing abilities and an exceptionally desirable second Constellation. Xilonen is expected to attract a lot of attention from Neuvillette and Navia players and will appear on the Event Banners during the first half of Version 5.1.

Genshin Impact Xilonen
Xilonen is an upcoming Geo character in Genshin Impact.

While Xilonen's unique sprint might be less impressive outside Natlan, it could be argued that her abilities are more suited for vertical travel rather than horizontal. Unlike Yelan, who can't use her Elemental Skill to climb walls or cliffs, Xilonen can. Since there's no rule against having both Xilonen and Yelan on the same team, balancing their strengths could be beneficial for players in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact might add a new character from Mondstadt in Version 5.5. A recent leak shows what looks like the final design for a female 5-Star Catalyst.]]>

Even though Mondstadt was the first region introduced in Genshin Impact, it hasn't had much new content since Inazuma was released. The most recent Mondstadt character added was Mika in Version 3.5, and there haven't been any new 5-Star characters from Mondstadt since Eula in Version 1.5.

During the Fontaine era, new characters have been added to Inazuma, Sumeru, and Liyue, with Chiori being especially popular. Although many players hoped Dahlia would become playable as a deacon of the Church of Favonius, no new Mondstadt characters were introduced during the Fontaine content updates. With rumors suggesting that Natlan might bring an expansion to Mondstadt's map, HoYoverse could be planning to add more characters from the Anemo Nation soon.

Though earlier leaks already showed Dahlia’s concept art, a new character sheet from Iris Leaks suggests a different character. This new Genshin Impact character, who has a gothic and steampunk style, uses the Medium Female model and seems to have a Pyro vision from Mondstadt. However, just like Kirara, Lyney, Charlotte, and Lynette had different visions on their character sheets, this character’s Pyro vision isn't confirmed. Iris Leaks actually says that the new character might be a 5-Star Electro Catalyst instead.

New Genshin Impact Mondstadt 5 Star Character

New Genshin Impact Mondstadt 5-Star character to debut in Version 5.5

The leak says the new Mondstadt character will come out in Version 5.5. While we don’t know her abilities yet, many players are hoping Genshin Impact will enhance the Superconduct elemental reaction. Since Yae Miko already covers the Aggravate playstyle, it would make sense for the developers to try something new with this upcoming Catalyst character.

While 4-Star characters in Genshin Impact can be quite strong, Natlan is expected to focus on 5-Star characters during its content updates. If the leak is correct, Natlan will have only three 4-Stars by the end of Version 5.5: Ororon, Kachina, and the annual Lantern Rite character. As Genshin Impact starts to prepare for Snezhnaya, a visit to Mondstadt seems likely. Although we don’t yet know what role the new Electro Catalyst character will have, her design is already popular among the Genshin Impact community.

Thanks to a recent leak, the Genshin Impact community finally has information about the Event Banners for Version 5.1.]]>

Even though people were excited about Xilonen’s arrival in Genshin Impact Version 5.1, no one knew which 5-Star characters would come with her. There was a lot of guessing about characters like Wriothesley and Shenhe because it had been a while since they were last seen, or because they were involved in the Imaginarium Theater, like Wriothesley.

Fans had strong reasons for expecting certain characters to return in Version 5.1’s Event Banners. However, Eula’s long absence shows that the developers are okay with keeping even popular 5-Star characters off the banners for over a year. With new characters like Kachina and Xilonen adding new aspects to the Geo element and Citlali planned for Version 5.3, it makes sense that HoYoverse is taking a different approach for Version 5.1.

In the first half of Version 5.1, Xilonen will be featured alongside Chiori on the Event Banners. In the second half, Nahida and Hu Tao will take the spotlight. This info comes from ukrisreng, a regular on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit. Xilonen is highly awaited because she will bring powerful buffs, reduce elemental resistance, and offer single-target healing—all in a unique Geo setup.

It’s worth noting that with Xilonen paired with Chiori, the Weapon Banner will be very valuable for players looking to get a 5-Star sword for the new Geo Support character. Although the newly crafted weapon is a good option for Xilonen, the Uraku Misugiri is a great choice for any Sword user who benefits from DEF scaling. Meanwhile, Nahida and Hu Tao will come with their own powerful signature weapons. The Staff of Homa, for example, is perfect for characters like Zhongli and Xiangling.

Version 5.1 is set to release on October 9, 2024. While this update will feature many sought-after 5-Star characters on the Event Banners, players can still earn a lot of Primogems in Version 5.0. Since Mavuika will not be available until Version 5.3, this gives players some time to save up for the Pyro Archon.

This guide will show you the best way to build Kachina in Genshin Impact. Click now!]]>

Kachina is a character you meet when you first visit Natlan in Genshin Impact. She’s a young fighter who uses a Geo Polearm and fights with her Turbo Twirly, which helps her deal Geo damage during battles. But watch out—playing with Turbo Twirly can be so fun that you might get distracted and not focus on fighting the enemies.

Kachina works as a Sub-DPS and Support character who can boost her team a lot if you know how to use her well. This guide will show you the best way to build Kachina in Genshin Impact.

Table of Contents

  • Kachina Genshin Impact: Best Artifacts
  • Kachina Genshin Impact: Best Weapons

Kachina Genshin Impact: Best Artifacts

Kachina is a Geo character who can deal damage even when she’s not on the field by using her Elemental Skill. To get the most out of her, you should equip her with the full 4-piece Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set. This set gives her a powerful buff when used properly. It works well with Kachina because she quickly activates Nightsoul’s Blessing when she uses her Elemental Skill.

Kachina Genshin Impact Build Guide 3
To get the most out of Kachina, you should equip her with the full 4-piece Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.

To get the big buff from the set, make sure Kachina triggers a Crystalize reaction with the main DPS you want to boost. For instance, if you have Mualani and Kachina on the same team, and you use Kachina’s Elemental Skill on an enemy that’s affected by Hydro, it will increase both Kachina’s and Mualani’s Geo and Hydro damage by 40%. This is very helpful for boosting any DPS.

If you haven't obtained the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City or prefer a simpler buff, consider using the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige set for Kachina. This set is ideal for any Support character in Genshin Impact. Both Noblesse Oblige and the 4-piece Tenacity of the Millelith set increase the team's ATK% by 20% when their conditions are met. Keep in mind that this buff only benefits DPS characters who scale with ATK.

Finally, because Kachina’s Support role doesn’t scale with her stats and she has good DEF scaling for her DPS, it’s best to focus on building her with DEF, Geo DMG, and Crit to maximize her abilities. Also, prioritize Energy Recharge to ensure she can use her Elemental Burst frequently.

Kachina Genshin Impact: Best Weapons

Although there aren’t many Polearms that suit characters who rely on DEF%, the Footprint of the Rainbow is an excellent choice for Kachina in Genshin Impact. This weapon provides a significant amount of DEF% through its Sub-stats and gives an additional DEF% boost when using her Elemental Skill.

Kachina Genshin Impact Build Guide 2
The Footprint of the Rainbow is an excellent choice for Kachina in Genshin Impact.

Alternatively, you can focus on Energy Recharge to make sure Kachina can frequently use her Elemental Burst. The Favonius Lance is a good choice for this, as it helps her generate Energy for her team. The Catch, on the other hand, boosts the damage of her Elemental Burst. If you don’t have these weapons, you can use Rightful Reward as a temporary option until you find better ones. Additionally, Kachina can also use any Crit Rate or Crit DMG weapon, or something like Engulfing Lightning, if you have it available.

Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed several upcoming changes for Mualani, who will soon be making her debut in the gatcha game.]]>

Genshin Impact introduced Mualani through a drip marketing campaign, confirming she is a Natlan character, like Kachina, Kinich Mavuika, Xilonen, and Citlali. The detailed trailer for the Natlan region revealed that she is a Hydro user who rides a shark toy. While her rarity hasn’t been officially confirmed, leading leakers suggest that Mualani will be a five-star unit, similar to Kinich.

Mualani - Genshin Impact

Recent leaks from Homdgcat have revealed that Mualani's kit and weapon will undergo some balance changes before her debut in Genshin Impact. According to the leaks, the cooldown of Sharky's Bite (elemental skill) will increase from 1.6 to 1.8 seconds. Her elemental burst will now deal damage equal to 105% of her max HP, up from 89%. Additionally, Mualani will generate a Puffer when Sharky's Surging Bite hits an enemy, but she will restore 15 fewer Nightsoul points when collecting a Puffer.

A mix of nerfs and buffs.

Mualanis Kit Genshin Impact Leak

Mualani will restore eight energy (reduced from 15) when collecting a Puffer she has created. Additionally, her weapon will grant four Scorching Summer stacks, but this will now occur over 14 seconds (up from 10 seconds) after using her elemental skill. As early leaks from Homdgcat suggest, Mualani will undergo a mix of nerfs and buffs before her official release.

Genshin Impact's Mualani is a Catalyst user whose plunging attacks deal AoE Hydro damage. Her elemental burst launches a missile that tracks enemies and deals damage based on her max HP. While in the Nightsoul's Blessing state, she rides the Sharky Surfboard, gains a movement speed boost, and her basic attacks become shark bites. To upgrade Mualani, players will need Mark of the Binding Blessing, Varunada Lazurite Fragment, Warrior's Metal Whistle, Sprayfeather Gill, and Sentry’s Wooden Whistle.

Mualani will make her debut alongside Kinich in the same version of Genshin Impact. Mualani is scheduled to be available on August 28, while Kinich will have his banner on September 17. The HoYo team will provide more details about these Natlan characters during a livestream on August 16.

Genshin Impact 5.0 is improving the player profile screen. Now, accounts can show an extra row of characters and highlight their Constellations.]]>

Although you can mostly play Genshin Impact by yourself, the Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater are meant for solo play. However, the game also includes a multiplayer feature. Players can join forces to defeat weekly bosses, trade character materials, and assist each other with many treasure puzzles.

Because of the way Genshin Impact works with its random item system, many players like to show off their favorite characters and achievements. Right now, the profile system lets players pick an avatar, a banner, and highlight up to eight characters that others can look at closely. This gives a lot of room for personalizing profiles. However, with more characters being added in Version 5.0 like Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina, the roster keeps expanding.

Genshin Impact players can display up to 12 characters on their profiles.

Genshin Impact 5 0 Profile Leak

In Version 5.0, the player profile is getting a major update to display up to twelve characters. This news came from a leak posted by ukrisreng on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, revealing the redesigned user interface. While the overall layout of the profile remains similar, having four additional character slots is significant for longtime players with many rare 5-Star characters. Additionally, the updated profile will now show the Constellations of characters that players choose to highlight, whether to boast about their achievements or, in the case of some frequently seen characters from the Standard Banner, to share their frustrations.

Fontaine started a series of significant quality-of-life improvements for Genshin Impact, and it looks like the Natlan era will keep this trend going. With features like a higher resin cap, the option to select Artifact attributes, and the removal of world boss timers, Genshin Impact 5.0 will be quite different from Version 4.0.

As players look forward to exploring Snezhnaya and Khaenri'ah after the volcanic landscapes of Natlan, it's clear that Genshin Impact is nearing the conclusion of its Teyvat chapter with strong momentum. Many of the updates introduced in 2024 have not only enhanced player convenience but also aimed to ensure the game's longevity. Despite some mixed reactions to the Chronicled Banner's attempt to streamline character availability, the revamped profiles appear well-prepared for future regions to come.

The upcoming event banner for the Pyro Archon is highly anticipated in Genshin Impact. However, players should also take note of another important character from Natlan named Xilonen. She is a 5-Star Geo Sword wielder and was prominently featured in the recent Ignition teaser for Version 5.0. According to FouL and several other leakers, Xilonen is expected to be a versatile Support character.

In Genshin Impact 5.0, Xilonen's abilities have remained unchanged, allowing leakers to gather detailed information about her Constellations, Ascension Passives, and overall combat capabilities. Her unique feature revolves around three elemental jewels that illuminate based on the elements of her teammates. When activating her Elemental Skill and entering the Nightsoul state, she emits an aura that reduces enemies' elemental resistance, determined by the colors of her jewels. During her Elemental Burst, the Leopard Spirit once again enhances the on-field character with bonuses corresponding to the illuminated jewel elements.

Xilonen's ability kit stands out because she is effective in Mono Geo teams, Navia Crystallize setups, and even teams without Geo characters. This versatility addresses players' longstanding desire for improvements to the Geo element in Genshin Impact. While her abilities could still undergo changes during beta testing, early feedback has been very positive. Version 5.1 is scheduled to release on October 11, 2024.

The leak also mentions that Kinich can target objects or terrain nearby, suggesting he could be quite handy for exploration. Another rumor suggested he would be Genshin Impact's next Dendro DPS character, focusing on elemental reactions like Bloom and Burning. If this holds true, it'll be fascinating to see how Kinich's abilities interact with these Dendro reactions.

Since the first teaser of the Natlan region, various rumors have circulated in the Genshin Impact community. Recently, a leak revealed a new Natlan Artifact Set and mentioned a potential new combat mechanic called Night Spirit coming in Genshin Impact 5.0. However, it's important to note that leaks aren't official information and may not always be included in the final game, so players should approach these rumors cautiously.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the Traveler's next journey, especially with the upcoming Pyro Nation. Because the War Nation isn't expected until late August, players should enjoy the upcoming summer event in Genshin Impact 4.8 to the fullest.

This update will introduce a temporary area to explore and offer plenty of Primogems to prepare for Natlan's future playable characters. Additionally, the game will feature two new skins for Nilou and Kirara, with Kirara's skin being available for free to event participants. Keep an eye out for Emilie, Genshin Impact's first 5-star Dendro Polearm character, who will debut on August 6.
