New operators

In addition to Call Of Duty MW new maps, there are both new operators and those who appeared in Modern Warfare 2, and they are all involved in the Shadow Company PMC. The list of operators includes the Shadow Company’s leader Marcus “Lerch” Ortega, Rozlin “Roze” Helms and Velikan. 

Battle pass

Currently, we don’t know much about the next battle pass in this Season 5. However, it is possible that it will work the same as in other Call of Duty versions, which will have the 100 tier progression and all players’ COD Points will go back to the number of 1000 ($9.99/￡8.39) as usual. 

In addition, Infinity Ward may bring out the battle pass bundle, which costs 2400 CP ($19.99/￡16.79) with the role of helping you skip 20 tiers. You can also claim that battle pass without having to spend any cash by playing regularly to earn a significant quantity of COD Points. 

New weapons

There hasn’t been any information being leaked by Infinity Ward just yet, but there surely will be one new weapon as the AN-94 rifle has been officially confirmed being removed from this year’s game files by those new operators from the Shadow Company. 

It is reasonable for a new season to have some of its new features leaked, including new weapons. For example, @TheMW2Ghost mentions the appearance of two new code files in season 4, which are named “m200” and “m200_c”. M200 stands for a bolt-action sniper rifle called the CheyTac Intervention, and is also mentioned in the conversation together with the Remington Model 700 (R700) in the previous month. Besides Call Of Duty MW new maps and weapons, five more features have been leaked by this user with the confirmation from other dataminers, making it sound reliable.

This season has added four Call Of Duty MW new maps and all of them have been released to the public, which are a Gunfight map, a Ground War operation and two 6v6 maps.

About these Call Of Duty MW new maps, there also is a leaker with the username of @ModernWarzone mentioning a possibility of Highrise being put on Modern Warfare in near future.

Of course, we will still have to wait Call Of Duty modern warfare map pack as we can’t be sure. It is now fair enough to say that maps in previous Call of Duty games have gone quite old, so this new Multiplayer map from Modern Warfare 2 has a much higher chance to success. 

Patch and file size

Though being one of the greatest shooting games nowadays, there is still one thing that gives most players a hard time, which is its giant patch sizes and continuously increased game size (more than 200GB on PC). Therefore, it’s a very good news that Infinity Ward decides to reduce the heaviness of Season’s 5 file size.  

However, doing a cut down will lead to an extra download of most features in the game, which therefore will increase the patch size at Season 5’s launch. Its current patch size on PS4 platform is 36GB, so let’s wait and see if the number stays the same when it is put on PC. 

Activision has been experimenting on various Battle Royale mode on its titles, with the recent Call of Duty Mobile being a successful example for the process. While nothing was confirmed back then, a lot of players were able to mess with the game files and glitched inside them.

Based on various sources from both inside the companies and reputable video games magazines, Modern Warfare’s Standalone Battle Royale Mode is going to be released on March 10 as a free-to-play game. This is definitely the right choice, as Battle Royale games need a huge number of players to actually work. Blackout mode from Black Ops last year was pretty decent as well, however, it never went the free-to-play route.

Warzone would be the biggest Battle Royale game in the market, with a total player limit of two hundred. Because of that, the play zone of every match would have to be massive, featuring various arenas that were part of other Call of Duty maps. Those locations are replicated in various degrees, from homage to outright copy and paste. This doubling of player number and map size is rather worrying, as the game might be dragged out for too long. It is yet to be seen if Activision would add any mechanics to thin out more players in time.

The weirdest aspect of this battle royale, however, is the respawn system based on a final duel to the death. If you get killed on the battlefield, your teammates can carry your corpse to an ambulance – afterward, you would be teleported to a gulag to 1vs1 another deceased player. The winner of the fight would be able to respawn. Remaining players can use the currency to bet on the fight as well. The previously mentioned currency is named “Plunder” and it can be used to buy items in the middle of a match.

Lastly, the game would be linked with the full Modern Warfare and would use the same Battle Pass system. You would be able to upgrade to the full game by buying the pass. Recently, Activision released a teaser for the upcoming Battle Royale game mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. And it looks like the new mode will be known as Warzone. According to rumors, it will also be a standalone game.

On Reddit, an artwork came out which looks pretty legit, showcasing the title of the game. While it is possible that the art is fake, comments seem to support that it is authentic.

New Call of Duty Warzone leaks

Even more leaks of the next Battle Royale mode have come out recently. A leaked video footage of Call of Duty: Warzone shows actual gameplay taking place in a tutorial. Apparently, some players got access to Warzone by accident due to a weird bug. Quite a few of them didn't waste an opportunity to record and upload a footage of that rare access.

Assuming that the video continues to be up, you can see that the tutorial to Warzone involves a familiar firing range. But the footage shows a few novel things that confirm some of what the unverified leaks referred to.

There will be familiar features like lootboxes that act as supply crates, tiered weapons and armor, a currency system that can buy killstreaks and special items. Warzone looks like it makes use of COD's loadout system.

Before, a bunch of leaks also came out for the upcoming BR mode for Modern Warfare. A Twitter user tweeted out about a new feature called Supply Station. Check out the leaked screenshot below:

So it looks like you can scavenge in-game currency and supply yourself in shops. You can see that the gas mask provides "circle defense," which probably helps with staying outside the shrinking circle.

If the leaks and rumors continue to be correct, Warzone will be a standalone game with F2P mechanics. So anyone out there who doesn't have Modern Warfare can enjoy its gameplay through Warzone, for free of course.

Gun enthusiast Brandon Meek through his YouTube channel Texas Plinking uploaded a real-life video of guns used in PUBG Mobile. The video titled "PUBG Guns In Real Life!" has been viewed 40 million times on YouTube. Brandon Meek is from Austin, Texas and is a trained gun expert. In the video, he is seen using AWM, Scar (heavy, he couldn’t find a Scar-L), Shotgun, Revolver, M16, Mini 14, SK12, AKM, M24, MK14 EBR, M16A4, crossbow, among others.

In the video, he is seen firing at an iron cast pan similar to the pan available on PUBG Mobile. In the game, no bullet can penetrate through the pan, but in the real-life video, bullets are seen tearing the pan apart. However, the sound of bullets fired from guns in the game is nearly similar to the sound of original guns used in real life.

Brandon Meek received a lot of traction after he uploaded a video titled "Fortnite Guns In Real Life." The video hit 20 million views in a couple of days on YouTube but unfortunately, the video got deleted. Various YouTube channels used the video without taking Brandon Meek's permission. This led him to re-upload the video on his channel after a couple of months later.

While in the 13-minute PUBG video, Brandon Meek explained the use of each and every gun kept on the table and how the bullets penetrated through the iron cast pan. In the video, shotgun ammo fails to penetrate through the pan while a double-barrel shotgun strikes off the entire pan. He also shows the recoil control of all the weapons and it is impressive to see him use AWM. Many PUBG lovers have watched the video due to their love with the sniper.

Similarly, Brandon Meek also showed real-life guns used in Call of Duty Modern Warfare game. In this video, he uses gold Desert Eagle, one of the rarely found guns in the game. We are sure, his love for guns has made him famous and we all game lovers are surely enjoying the videos uploaded by him.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just launched yesterday across multiple Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows. The game has yet to catch public attention as people are busy playing Call of Duty: Mobile – which was a massive hit this month. Yet their game publisher Activision has made their move to promote the game.

Free items in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Activision has partnered with Twitch in a campaign to get public attention. You can now win free items in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just by watching streams on Twitch. By linking your Twitch and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare account, you can win up to 4 in-game items just by how long have you watched CoD contents.

After linking the two accounts, you can browse Call of Duty: Modern Warfare contents on Twitch. Do watch out for the sign “drops are enabled” on each channel. You can only earn rewards when watching channels with that tag. For each hour you watch – capped at 4 hours – the rewards will be “Poison Grapes” spray, “Looking Grim” emblem, “Collect Your Soul” calling card, and “Reap This” weapon charm respectively.

Modern Warfare has got to be the most exciting entry in the legendary Call of Duty franchise in years. However, before the game could even see the lights of day, leaks broke out that instead of staying true to a consistent and fair multiplayer experience the developers would add loot boxes - a highly controversial form of in-game microtransaction - into the game. This caused quite a lot of outrage in the gaming community for the last couple of weeks with many even outright canceling their pre-orders. Fortunately, though, Infinity Ward - the developer - assured the community by announcing that loot boxes will not be coming to Modern Warfare in a recent comment.

Gameplay Progression

The art director of the studio Joel Emslie came to Reddit to explain more to the community about the monetization scheme in the game. Addressing directly the allegation that many weapons within the game would be locked behind a paywall, Emslie said that this information is: “misinformed and incorrect”. According to him, he and his team are definitely not working on any systems even remotely related to a supply drop or loot box.

He also added that functional items like weapons are unlocked through gameplay. From this comment, we can also guess that there would be microtransactions in the game but mostly in the form of cosmetics that probably won’t also be tied to a loot box system. All of the weapons and their accessories, as well as perks, can be unlocked through the traditional mean of grinding through levels like in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2007).

Victory For Everyone

After the furor, the developers seem to have abandoned the idea of loot boxes completely. This is a pretty wise move as it isn’t only a system that players universally and vehemently hate, the system’s also being hotly debated in the politics circle on whether it is a form of gambling. But Modern Warfare isn’t totally missing out on the opportunity to monetize. Though the player-base doesn’t hate such schemes as much as loot boxes, Modern Warfare has been confirmed to be partnering up with Totino’s Pizza Rolls to give players unique in-game items for the purchase of Totino’s products.

But that doesn’t matter. What matters is that the assurance of loot boxes and supply drops’ removal can mean a lot for the gaming community. The promise that all ‘functional’ items can be acquired through gameplay is a huge bonus as well. It’s a win all around.

Arguably, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is one of the most anticipated games of this year thus far. We don’t know yet whether this game will sell well (There have been plenty of controversies that hampered its pre-ordering phase recently), but considering the fact that gamers are responding extremely positively to it and Call of Duty has always sold well as a franchise. There’s a good chance that we might see this year’s annual release of Call of Duty topping the sales charts. But there’s also something else that the new release of the franchise might top: Total download size.

Steep Hard Drive Requirement

Activision released the minimum specs for PC to be able to play Modern Warfare a couple of days ago and while people were browsing through the tech sheet, one thing caught everyone’s eyes: 175GB of required storage space.

Fortunately, Activision made a counter-statement in order to rectify the news. Saying that 175GB of storage space is how much disk’s real estate they: “recommend players [to] keep available in order to download the post-launch content we’ll be bringing to Modern Warfare. At launch, the initial download will be smaller.”

Fair enough, but a game that’s worth 175GB? That’s unheard of ever before. While all of us are still considering 40 - 50GB the average size of triple-A games with DLCs added, Activision went ahead and double that number. Considering the massive and incredibly detailed Old West of Red Read Redemption 2 is only 150GB in size, the 175GB requirement of Modern Warfare is quite steep if you keep in mind that it has only a linear single-player campaign and multiplayer.

But there are many explanations as to why there’s this huge number, though. The developers may be delving into ultra-high-resolution textures, more expansive maps and more well-crafted CGI cutscenes, support for multiple languages and possibly didn’t bother with compressing their files.

Whatever the case, now that you know the minimum hard drive space of the upcoming game, it’s time to clean the house and wait for the release on September 12th.

Infinity Ward has announced a new mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s beta: Ground War. The mode would be two massive teams of 32 people each clashing against each other in a giant open map. The game will enter open beta on Saturday, September 21st, on all platforms. The new mode will take place on a new map named Karst River Quarry.

The new game mode will be different to everything ever released in the franchise, with skirmishes in a massive downtown city environment, with skyscrapers and the like. The environments and map designs would be improved so that even a large number of players would not make the map feel cramped.

The mode is currently set at 64 players with 32 on each side, however, the dev team in Activision are hinting for larger counts updates. In a multiplayer gameplay premiere, a spokesperson for the company has disclosed about a “100 players mode”. This 64 ground war mode is probably Activision testing the water.

In this mode, the player will not be fixed into a single class like in Battlefield – they can make use of their preferred loadouts from “Create-a-class” from other modes and switching mid-matches. Based on the information provided, looks like Ground War would be a spectacular action-packed mode – a unique experience in an already large title.

The objective in Ground War would be similar to a battle of domination, in which there are five strategic points for players to capture – on a titanic battlefield. Choppers and APCs would be common sights, as players converged into areas, forming defense and offense lines around strategic locations.

What’s more, the gameplay will be paired with Call of Duty’s classic gameplay elements, such as killstreaks, load-outs, and gunplay. The combination would definitely result in a highly unique experience for both fans of the series and newbies.
