Infinite_wicked, a Minecraft player on Reddit just mowed down a massive Skeleton farm with a single swing of their sword. The tiny farm was packed with Skeletons, but the enchanted iron sword made quick work of them. Loot and XP orbs rained down as the Skeletons fell, including Bows, Arrows, Bones, and all sorts of armor. The loot was then automatically collected using a Hopper, but the player thinks Minecraft needs a sweeping attack to handle these situations even faster.

Is a sweep attack feasible in Minecraft?

To be honest, the Sword sweep is a great idea. However, could it be overpowered?

One Minecraft fan suggested a solution gaining traction. That is a cooldown mechanic, like Elytra flight, Ender Pearls, or Potion effects to balance the attack's effectiveness.

Another suggestion involves new sword enchantments that modify the primary attack, offering strategic variety. Alternatively, introducing a new weapon specifically designed for crowd control could be an option, keeping the classic sword gameplay intact.

IAmNotARobot5544, a Reddit user had a rare experience in Minecraft encountering a Baby Zombie. The player captured the moment when the Baby Zombie unexpectedly appeared riding a pig and attacking. Using an enchanted sword, the player swiftly defeated both the pig and the Baby Zombie in one strike, causing the Baby Zombie to catch fire. Despite briefly mounting a chicken afterward, the burning Baby Zombie ultimately perished shortly thereafter, bringing an unexpected and memorable encounter to an end for the Minecraft player.

When activated, the piston propelled the player so high that they reached space.

Why can Cleinden rocket into space in Minecraft 1.21?

In the Minecraft 1.21 update, there's a new item called the Splash Potion of Wind Charge. When players use this potion, it gives mobs the Wind Charged effect. This effect makes a mob release a burst of wind when it dies.

To experiment, players activated a piston and confined many chickens with the Wind Charged effect in a small area. When these chickens were killed, the resulting explosion was so powerful that, according to the player, it launched them up to a height of 10,000 blocks.

Although the player conducted the test in Creative mode, another Reddit user commented that they tried the same experiment in Survival mode and got similar results.

In addition, Mojang has added more ways for players to experiment with knockback effects beyond just the Splash Potion of Wind Charge. They've introduced the Wind Charge, a new projectile crafted using the Breeze Rod, an item dropped by Breezes. When thrown, the Wind Charge applies a knockback effect to any mob it hits. They elaborated on their creation method, explaining that the software leverages data from sources like OpenStreetMap and USGS. This data is used to generate a Minecraft world with roads, buildings, and natural elements, ensuring a more realistic environment.

It's known that Kansas City is not the first city AtmosphericBeats has recreated in the sandbox game. They did bring Baltimore and Anchorage City to the game,  demonstrating their skill and dedication to detailed virtual urban landscapes.

• Next, search for a block of Crying Obsidian within the Ruined Portal structure. It is typically found in the frame but may also be lying on the ground nearby.
• Once you spot the Crying Obsidian, equip a diamond or netherite pickaxe from your hotbar. Mine the Crying Obsidian until it breaks and a smaller Crying Obsidian item appears. The item will then float on the ground, ready for you to collect.

#2. Find in Bastion Remnants

Another way to get Crying Obsidian is to find it in chests in Bastion Remnants.

#3. Trade with Piglins

What is the fastest way to get Crying Obsidian in Minecraft? In fact, many users consider bartering with Piglins the most time-efficient way to obtain Obsidian, although it highly depends on luck.

Just trade gold ingots with Piglins and there is a ~9.46% chance for you to get 1 - 3 Crying Obsidian.

Can you make a portal with Crying Obsidian?

Unlike standard Obsidian blocks in Minecraft, Crying Obsidian cannot be used to build Nether Portals.

The player places two Iron Trapdoors inside the box, then removes the first one and places it above the remaining Trapdoor. Next, they place an Iron Trapdoor back in the original spot and immediately add another on top. Finally, the player steps back and activates a Redstone network by clicking on a Jukebox, causing the four Trapdoors to spin in a clockwise direction.

How Does The Trapdoor Fan in Minecraft Work?

After demonstrating how the makeshift fan operates, Kenny744 floats above their contraption, indicating that it was built in Minecraft Creative mode.

The complete build consists of Redstone Circuits, Iron Blocks, a Jukebox, and Observers. A Redstone network connects the back of the build to the front section containing the Trapdoors, with circuits running through the middle and along each side. From above, seven Observer Blocks are visible, and the build spans seven blocks in length. The Redstone mechanism quickly activates one side of the Iron Trapdoors and then the other, causing the Trapdoors to spin rapidly due to the speed of the Redstone signals.

Kenny744's creation might be the first sample of a spinning fan in Minecraft, making it an impressive engineering achievement.
