Team Soul, after a total failure during PMPL very recently, has decided to skip this event altogether. It is not sure if they would invite any other teams or not, as the decision was made literally right before the tourney happen.

With Soul probably being a participant for the first Online qualifier, it is likely that the organizer would just remove them from the list and move on. This news was shared by SouL’s leader, Naman “Mortal” Mathur, on his official Instagram page.

According to Mortal, the continuous stream of tournaments in the last six months has destabilized the team and building up too much mental pressure. He further stated that during this break from PMIS 2020, they would spend time training and work on their mistakes - by training on customs throughout the duration.

It is a shame that SouL is not going to participate, as the team is PMIS’s reigning champion – they won the 2019 edition. This news would definitely come as a shock to fans of Soul, as everyone was pretty excited to see how they would perform after their catastrophic defeat in PMPL. Mortal has also noted that there might be a further structural change to SouL, and if “structural” means “roster change”, we might even see a new member or two after this break. They would not get to participate in the world league this year for their defeat in PMPL.

Ever since the PMCO Fall Split last year, team SouL's performance has been really bad in most tournaments they were in. Now, as the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia has just ended, team SouL failed to make in the PUBG Mobile World League on 13th place, a horrible result for a team that once the best PUBG Mobile team in India. This is the first international tournament that SouL won't represent India.

Out of all people, MortaL is the one who feels the worst about this result of his team and it was shown on his latest post on Instagram.

The inevitable downfall is where we have landed today.
These were the toughest 6 months and it's now over... We couldn't make it through.

In 2019, SouL dominated the PUBG Mobile esports scene in India being the champion of the PMIS 2019 and the PMCO India Spring Split 2019. In the PMCO Fall Split 2019, the team went second place. But the same doesn't happen in 2020 as they placed 8th during the PMPL South Asia League Stage with 4 Chicken Dinner.

The PMPL South Asia Finals was even worse as they got no Chicken Dinner over 15 matches and placed 13 out of 16 teams.

In his Instagram post, MortaL promised his fans that this was the first and the last time team SouL sinks this low and they will try to keep going for a new beginning.

But, a new day begins tomorrow, a new way to deal with everything. We will keep moving ahead and all I can promise to you is, this was the first and last time we have disappointed you in the big picture.

This is a huge fall for both team SouL and their fans. But they still have one more chance this year in the Fall Season. Team SouL will no longer get invited straight to the PMPL South Asia and will have to register for the PMCO India and earn their slot against thousands of other teams. In the past few months, Aman and Sangwan have dragged team SouL into a lot of unnecessary controversies. This time is with team Hydra, all just because they couldn't control their emotion and words. MortaL once again had to apologize for them for their bad behavior and things have settled down but it cannot keep going on like this forever.

Team SouL was famous for their skill in PUBG Mobile. But even when they were no longer the best PUBG Mobile team in India anymore, people still give them huge respect because team SouL, especially MortaL, has shown their utmost professional attitude toward other teams.

Seeing this incident actually has made many long time SouL's fans upset. While both Aman and Sangwan did increase the overall performance of team SouL in tournaments, many fans don't like them at all and only respect MortaL. Even Ghatak, the leader of TSM-Entity, also said the same that he doesn't like team SouL at all apart from MortaL.

Many fans also suggest that MortaL should find an organization to sponsor their team like TSM-Entity and Fnatic to take care of side businesses like this while they focus on playing PUBG Mobile. This might actually a really good idea.

Ever since after the PMCO Fall Split last year, Indian's favorite PUBG Mobile team, SouL has been on and off constantly, making fans nervous. It has been a very long time since SouL won a tournament and this is great news for their fans. Over the last 2 days of the Skyesports Grandslam PUBG Mobile Invitational, team SouL has totally crushed every other team in it.

The Skyesports Grandslam PUBG Mobile Invitational features a prize pool of Rs 2,5 lakh with 15 invited teams and 5 teams from the qualifiers.

Over 2 days with 8 matches, team SouL has earned a total of 143 points 3 Chicken Dinner and an incredible 59 kills. No other teams can even come close to team SouL in terms of kills or points. Team IND in the second place only got 96 points, which is 47 points fewer than team SouL.

Orange Rock went third place with 92 points. They had the same number of placement points as Team IND but had fewer kills.

Three members of team SouL were among the top 5 fraggers in the tournament so far. SouL.Regaltos and SouL.Viper took the lead with 18 kills each. Aman also made it to the top 5 with 14 kills. MortaL, while not being in the top 5 fraggers leaderboard, also scored a decent number of 9 kills.

Meanwhile, Fnatic is struggling with their internal issues among team members, mostly about ScouOP and his behavior toward other members, so they were unable to do well.

Team Soul is one of the best and most popular PUBG Mobile squad in both India and the world. They have represented the country twice on the global stage of the PMCO Finals and are currently participating in PMPL South Asia Scrims 2020.

The team has just announced that they would take a break from competitive activities for a few days - and will be returning on the 18th of April. Because of this, they won't be playing PMPL Scrims or any other tournaments during this break. While Soul did not share much information about the reason behind the break, Viper, one of the members, shared on his Instagram Story that the team is going to revise their strategy during this resting period.

Team Soul has been performing pretty badly as of late, with only 28 points ats day 6 of the PMPL South Asia Scrims. This only net them the 11th place, a mediocre result that is pretty alarming. Coupled with their recent failure in the Akhada Cup (8th place finish), it is about time that they get together and research a new strategy for their plays. All members of team Soul have excellent personal techniques - it is likely that their synergy is the problem. This is not the first time Mortal has to initiate a break - and these kinds of break can revive the team and bring them to the next level. After his last break, Mortal and his team came back super strong in PMCO 2019 after creating new strategies.

PMPL South Asia Scrim is a reorganized version of the real PMPL, which has to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The season would end on April 17 - Soul's 11 position means that they are not going to win anyway, so dropping out is not a problem.

In esports games, it is very easy for players to become over-excited, especially when they made it through an unbelievable difficult situation. It can be very hard to keep calm and be respectful in a game like PUBG Mobile during tense moments.

Team SouL and Team INES Controversy

During a match on Sanhok, team INES managed to wipe out Team SouL. Later on, 2 teams encountered once again in another match on Sanhok. But this time around, Team SouL was the on who won the battle. Not only that, MortaL alone killed the whole INES team when his teammates were all knocked. The fight was intensive and MortaL has made the impossible happened, making both ReGaLToS and Sangwan went off. Those two then started insulting team INES with bad words such as "bsdk"  and calling them "free kills."

Team Soul was famous for not only their skills but also their calm, positive vibe they have, especially under the lead of MortaL. No one could have expected one of the most beloved PUBG Mobile team in India, Team SouL could have done such disrespectful things to their opponent.

Needless to say, team INES was furious and made a video to call out this behavior from team SouL. You can watch the video below.

Immediately after MortaL was aware of the video, he immediately left a comment to say sorry to team INES, explaining that it was just the heat of the moment and they didn't really mean it. It was such an expected response from a polite person like MortaL. Even though MortaL didn't do anything, he took the responsibility for what his teammates did and apologized.

Not only MortaL. but Aman also said sorry to team INES on his stream on behalf of his teammates for their behavior.

Fans' reaction to the incident

At first, lots of people were disappointed with their favorite team and apologized to team INES for the incident. Some even compared this behavior to the Sixless controversy recently while some thought that it was just a small mistake.

However, as soon as MortaL apologized, everyone respected him for going forward and taking the matter head-on. People not only didn't hate, but they also loved him even more as he once again proved his maturity as the leader of Team SouL and a professional player. MortaL is truly the soul of Team SouL and surely he will get even more fans after this incident.

Since past two months several YouTube channels have been hacked belonging to renowned Indian streamers and professional esport players. Team SouL player Aman Jain was shocked to find that his YouTube channel with 275k subscribers was hacked. The hacker changed channel name to Ripple XRP [CEO Brad Garlinghouse] which is a cryptocurrency company.

After which Rishab Karanwal aka RakaZone Gaming lost his first YouTube channel Football Forever having over 100k subscribers to another bitcoin crytocurrency named Binance Exchange. Rishab was live streaming when his fans and audience alerted him that a video has been posted on his old channel. Realizing that it's not a prank from his audience, he immediately alerted YouTube team on Twitter. He is yet to get his channel back. Later he has revealed that such channels have been taking place in India. While speaking to GuruGamer, he said, "I want my channel to be retrieved. Such hackers on YouTube should be controlled and banned. "

Aman Jain managed to get back his YouTube channel with all the content which was deleted by the hacker. YouTube has a policy to store data of deleted content for a period of two months and it can be retrieved from the database. A report in The Sun claimed that over 800 million users were affected after Windows 10 update which led hackers to steal login details of the user.

SouL Aman while clarifying how is channel got hacked revealed that an automatic update of Windows 10 on his computer system gave access to hackers which stole login details of his channel. He also said that he did not receive any email informing him about the change in ownership of his channel. Microsoft was informed about the bug by the National Security Agency after which they sent a free patch to 800 million users to fix the issue. Recently, Microsoft announced that they have managed to fix 100 security holes in Windows operating systems including Internet Explorer.

The SouL boys are some of the most popular PUBG Mobile figures in India right now in the truest sense. One of them, Mortal, has garnered close to 4 million subscribers on YouTube alone. SouL Entertainment, another YouTuber had lost his channel due to hacking. The reason behind such incidents is yet to be known.

The entire team SouL is in Goa for a get together arranged by Tencent India. This news has left everyone shocked and they are trying to contact YouTube to get back the channel. However, the hacker has managed to delete the entire content of the channel. The hacker renamed channel name to Ripple XRP [CEO Brad Garlinghouse] which is a cryptocurrency company.

A source close to Team SouL said, "The entire Team SouL is in Goa for an event. They are in a fun mood. After they heard about Aman's YouTube channel being hacked, they tried to reach out to YouTube to resolve the issue. The reason behind this hacking incident is yet to be confirmed. But it would be a phishing incident which Aman might have taken it as a general E-mail link from YouTube. It is very disheartening to see his hard work has been destroyed by the hacker."

While experts believe that YouTubers should be extra careful in terms of securing their channels. The first one is to be careful with shortened links received by any means. It could lead to download malware which could steal confidential information. The second is to not share information on malicious URL even if it is shared by Google itself. The third one would be to keep strong passwords and to change them frequently.

In what could be dubbed as a strategic move by Team Soul, Dhruv Sangwan is the latest addition to the squad after Aman. His role has been fixed as an in-game leader for future tournaments. With a back-to-the-back debacle for Team Soul in recent matches, Soul Sangwan is being considered to bring a difference in gameplay. However, fans of Team Soul are wondering which player would on the bench as the fifth player in upcoming tournaments.

Currently, Sangwan, Viper, Aman, Regaltos, and MortaL are in the lineup. It is uncertain who will be kept as a substitute in upcoming tournaments. Sources claim that MortaL wants a different perspective on the gameplay. Sangwan played for Team Fnatic managed which won PUBG Mobile All-Stars India 2019.

During the live stream, Naman Mathur aka MortaL confirmed the development and had said:

"Sangwan will be the in-game leader for future tournaments. No one has quit Team Soul and all its members are intact. The decision of playing four will be decided as per the maps and skill sets required to tackle the situation during the game."

MortaL also clarified on questions such as Regaltos's quitting Team SouL to which he said:

"Regaltos is the core member of the team. He is not only a friend but is like our family member. We will never let him go away from the team."

PMCO Spring Split 2020 offers a massive prize pool of $1,000,000, and registrations have started. The players fulfilling the minimum requirements can register with their squads till 21st January. Team Entity will not play PMCO as they have been directly invited for the Global stages. Similarly, five other teams have been invited on basis of their standings in PMCO 2019.

Naman Mathur aka SouL MortaL during his live streaming session announced that he will not encourage in-game meetups. It often becomes annoying when players after watching his YouTube stream reach out to him during the game. The reason behind such a decision was after MortaL was killed by a fan on the pretext of a meetup. These incidents take place very often when fans come to greet players during a match. Stream snipers have become a major headache for game streamers which spoils the fun of the audience.

PUBG Mobile prevents in-game teaming as it gives an upper hand in a squad or a solo game. This could lead to the banning of accounts. Recently, PUBG Mobile revealed that they have banned 3,500 players in the month of September. The maximum banning period has been increased by 10 years.

Despite such measures, Indian gaming streamers are facing these issues. It should be noted that in-game meetups with famous streamers like MortaL, CarryMinati, and Dynamo are on the rise and this spoils the fun for viewing audience.

During the live stream, MortaL said, "We will no longer entertain in-game meetups and I request my viewers and fans to take a fight instead of just meeting and greeting. Shout-outs will be given to players who kill me or my squad. We like people when they take fights and not when they drop their clothes and weapons just to meet us."

Kaushal Das, an ardent fan and member on MortaL's channel complains, "We love MortaL in action. We don't watch his stream to see other players just running onto him while watching his stream and meeting-greeting him. It spoils the fun and it often happens that on the pretext of meet up, they kill MortaL and this becomes more annoying. So it is better that meet-ups should be stopped completely for more fun and action in PUBG Mobile."

Lalit Mathur a gamer and ardent fan has another view on this issue. "I have been playing for a very long time. I watch a lot of streams and I have noticed that Indian fans are in love with these game streamers. They often don't believe in killing them. But there are few miscreants who indulge in-stream sniping. Now it is on streamer if he/she wants to meet and greet fans while in a match. Instead PUBG Mobile should take such measures to curb teaming up in squad and solo matches."

The PMCO Fall Split 2019 Global Finals last week pretty much ended the year for the competitive scene of PUBG Mobile. Entity Gaming turned out to be the strongest PUBG Mobile team in India and even made it to top 5 in the Grand Finals, followed by the old but gold SouL with captain MortaL. Team Fnatic didn't perform as well as people expected. Orange Rock was considered the strongest team in India, but they failed to achieve their success from the Group Stage.

But none of that matters now, because all of them are changing their roster to find the perfect combination for the next upcoming season. Here are all the details about rumors and announcements about all the changes that already happened and might be happening in the near future.

Entity Aman moves to SouL

Entity Gaming made a great run during the PMCO Fall Split and they are definitely the best team in India now. But their team won't be the same as Entity Aman has decided to leave Entity Gaming and joins team SouL. The IGL of Entity Gaming, Ghatak, has actually confirmed it even before the Grand Finals on his Instagram. Aman will still be playing for Entity Gaming in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Star Challenge World Cup events in Riyadh, but not the 2020 season. It is unclear now that who will be replacing Aman in Entity. Aman is one of the best assaulters in India right now. He scored a total of 33 kills during the South Asia Regional Finals.

It is now confirmed that Clutchgod will leave team SouL and so Aman will replace his place in the team. Other than that, team SouL will stay the same with Mortal, Viper, and Regaltos. There are rumors that MortaL might take a break from playing competitively again, but there has been no confirmation.

Fnatic new lineup

Fnatic has got a not-so-good run in the PMCO even though they have all the veteran PUBG Mobile players in their team. But they lack a proper strategy and an experienced leader to make calls. From now on Owais will be the IGL of the team. Ash from team 8Bit is also moving to Fnatic and take Scout place temporarily. The team hired Pratik Mehra aka Aurum, the best PUBG PC player in India, to coach them and teach them to grow further.

Orange Rock replace 2 members

Orange Rock is the first team to change their roster after the tournament. Two of their players, Carry and ex1stence, left the team. Those 2 slots are now filled by Daljitsk from team IND and Anto from team Godlike.

8Bit is now the old Revenge Esports

With Ash leaving 8Bit, the main roster of 8Bit will include Trilok, Akshay, Sonic, and Clutchgod instead of their old roster with Ash, Ted, Prince, Akshu and Avi. Funnily, this is the exact roster of Revenge Esports when they won the PMIT 2019.

Team IND filled their slot with Snax

As Daljitsk is no longer in IND, the team has lost their most precious player so Snax from Mega X has come to the team to fill the spot.

Zero Degree Esports

Zero Degree Esports is an undisputed force in the Indian PUBG Mobile competitive scene. But, unfortunately, due to some issue inside the organization, God will be leaving the team and join Entity Gaming in place of Aman. The other players, Paansingh, Surya, Red, and Blaezi will be staying with the team.

Reckoning Esports

Reckoning Esports has announced that they have released their current PUBG Mobile roster and are looking for a new and completed squad.

New team 7 Seas

PUBG Mobile teams in India will have a new team to look out for in the next season, 7 Seas. Their roster includes Zigsaw from team Rising Hydra, Driger from team INS, Imazik from ORB Official, and Viru - a substitute for Entity Gaming.

VSG Crawlers

VSG Crawlers is also a new team with an ex-ETG. Brawler member and 3 other players. Their roster is Roach, Sangwan, EvoO, and CG.
