PUBG Mobile 2.8 has a great change in the weapon system. FAMAS 2.0 has replaced AUG A3 in the airdrop and become one of the rarest Assault Rifles in this game. Let's check out the strong and weak points of this weapon and some advantages of this new edition here.

#1. Enhanced Power

The base damage of the new weapon - FAMAS 2.0 was enhanced moderately. Its hit point increases from 37 to 38 HP/hit. The firing speed also increases insanely from 800 to 900 bullets per minute. Then, the damage per second also increases a lot, making this gun a powerful AR for bullet spraying. It lets you defeat the opponent faster.

#2. Optimized Attachment

The amount of attachment slots decreases. You can only attach a scope, barrel attachment, and a canted sight to your FAMAS 2.0. The full magazine capacity is limited to 30 counts. Wielders cannot extend the ammo capacity by attaching any further mag to this firearm.

But this nerf makes FAMAS 2.0 balanced. It's powerful enough for you to shoot down an enemy team with the given bullet capacity.

#3. Reduced Reload Duration

The long reload duration make the old FAMAS less preferred in fast-paced FPS game like PUBG Mobile. The remade version of FAMAS in update 2.8 lessened the reload duration of this AR from 3.5 to 3.2 seconds. This is the fixed reload time for this gun as you cannot attach a quickdraw mag to reduce this duration.

#4. New Iron Sight

FAMAS 2.0 has a better iron sight for the early stage of the game when you cannot pick any scope. However, most pro players in PUG Mobile do not use this type of sight to aim because the large body of this gun blocks a wide range of sight.

You should grab a red dot or holo sight to aim in short-range combat with the new FAMAS. Or else, hip-fire if the enemy is very close to you. Don't try to use its iron sight or your vision will be blocked partially, which can be a deadly disadvantage in this game, especially in 1-vs-multiple situations.

#5. Reduced Recoil Rate

The best enhancement of FAMAS 2.0 is the reduced recoil rate. This new version is easier to control than the old one with a smaller recoil range. Its verticle and horizontal recoil patterns are even smaller than M416 which is known as one of the most stable firearms in this game.

It's one of the most important changes as the old FAMAS has higher recoil rates than M416. This enhancement makes FAMAS 2.0 surpass every other 5.56 AR to enter the airdrop crate.

With these changes, FAMAS 2.0 became the best 5.56 AR in PUBG Mobile. That's why it can kick AUG A3 out and replace it in the airdrop crate.

Battlegrounds Mobile India or BGMI has just been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store of India. Currently, there have been no formal announcements about the state of the game. In this article, Gurugamer is going to update players about the situation so far.

BGMI’s removal reason

Apparently, the reason behind BGMI's removal is due to an order from the Indian Government. This is based on a recent statement from Google, mentioning that they decided to remove the game from its Play Store following a “Government Order“.

Since the statement, many insiders amongst Indian BGMI Youtubers have come forward with claims that this ban is just temporary. There will be court hearings in the coming days related to this incident.

About the previous ban of PUBG Mobile

Previously, BGMI's predecessor PUBG Mobile was also removed from the Google Play Store back in 2020, after allegations of privacy infringement were raised against Tencent, the producer of the game. This coincides with the border tension between India and China, the home country of Tencent.

There were also widespread complaints lodged from parents all over the country about how the game was too addictive and affected the daily lives of players negatively.

Final Thoughts

Looks like the fate of the game in the region is in peril. The PUBG/BGMI community, which has just begun to recover after the ban, would no doubt be struck down by this blow.

It is unlikely that BGMI would be able to come back to the country a second time after this ban. Gurugamer is going to update more about this event.

Free Fire MAX

Free Fire MAX is surprisingly left out when the original Free Fire app was banned. Its gameplay is identical to Free Fire, with 50 players dropping onto a battle royale and fighting until there's only one left.

Unlike BGMI, Free Fire MAX characters can equip a set of 4 skills and have access to a special grenade that creates barriers.

Call of Duty Mobile

Call of Duty Mobile was late for the Battle Royale race but it is a worth playing game nonetheless. The game has all the unique traits of the Call of Mobile games on PC such as unique weapons, ability, items, and more. There are also a ton of other game modes other than just the Battle Royale mode for players to enjoy anytime they want.

PUBG New State

PUBG New State is one of the newest releases of Krafton. It is almost the same as Battleground Mobile India but with some added features and improvements that might fit some players:

• There are new features that add variety to the game such as drones, shields, weapon upgrades.
• The graphics are improved using new technology so they look better than PUBG Mobile.
• Smoother gameplay and playing experience overall.

I. Auto Pick-Up On

PUBG Mobile players can customize the pickup setting to select the desired supplies and amount. You can save time on looting and focus on combat. Moreover, the auto pick-up feature won't make any mistakes because it's controlled by IA.

Here are the best amount of healing items to pick up for a match in PUBG Mobile.

• Medkit x1;
• Bandages x7;
• Painkiller x1;
• First Aid Kit x3;
• Energy Drink x5;
• Adrenaline Syringe x1.

This setup is suitable for every player. Adrenaline Syringe and Medkit take too much space in your inventory, so you need only one of each item. Bandages and first-aid kits are more useful.

II. Always Loot A Pistol

Lots of players often drop the pistol after they pick up an AR, DMR, or a stronger weapon type. But you should keep a pistol because it does not take any backpack space. Besides, players can use the pistol to keep a red dot or holographic sight, a muzzle, a foregrip, and a mag for SMGs.

You can use the pistol as an extra inventory. The scorpion is the best pistol to keep the attachment in addition to the backpack.

III. Ammunition

Ammo is the most important supply in combat. But you don't need too much ammo because many ammo types take a lot of backpack space. Here are the most recommended amounts of ammunition for all PUBG Mobile players.

• 5.56mm ammo: 240-250 bullets;
• 7.62mm ammo: 100-150 bullets at max if you use an AR and around 30-50 if you use a sniper rifle;
• SMG's ammo: 180 bullets;
• Shotgun ammo: 20 - 30 bullets as default;
• LMG ammo: 200 bullets for MG3 and M249 and 150 bullets for DP-28.

IV. Throwables

There are many types of throwables in PUBG Mobile and BGMI that helps players take the enemy down and protect themselves. You only need to pick up important throwables to stay safe and get Chicken Dinner easily.
